Although Kratos doesn’t really exist in Greek mythology, he has become a character that feels like he does. That’s why so many players might feel like themselves as Gods of War. Four years have passed since God of War was released for PS4, and there are only three ways to refresh your memory on all things Kratos. One is to re-play 2018’s God of War; the second is to watch the official story recap published by PlayStation, and the third is to read the story details published on the PlayStation Blog.
If you want to go for the first option to remember the story before the sequel arrives, 2018’s God of War is available on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5. The game was also released for PC and is available on Steam.
If you are a good reader, PlayStation published a text-based recap of the story of Kratos. You can read God of War Recap on PlayStation’s blog.
But the most exciting way to remember is by watching the storybook format recap video hosted by Felicia Day. Thinking that there may be those who wonder how Kratos came to be on this day, Sony released a video summarizing the adventure of Kratos before the release of God of War: Ragnarök.
The video is full of spoilers, as you might guess, and covers the key points of the adventure of Kratos and Atreus.
God of War: Ragnarok is going to be released for PS4 and PS5 on November 9, 2022. The game will be available for PCs, but there is no exact date for the PC release.
