On Twitter, the official Overwatch 2 account released a Season 2 trailer. Revealing a bunch of new content, a teaser of the upcoming Winter Wonderland event, the new hero, and much more, all coming in the near future. With the release just around the corner, players are getting hyped about the game’s future. There’s a lot to unpack here, so let’s dive right in.
New hero Ramattra will make his debut in Overwatch 2 Season 2. We’ve already seen his gameplay, origin story, and even some developer updates on him, so this is just a final teaser of what’s coming. We also got a glimpse of ‘Shambali’, a new payload map. As with each new season, a new Battle Pass is on the way, too. This time, it will feature an Olympian theme with ‘Zeus Junker Queen’ and ‘Poseidon Ramattra’ skins teased.
Aside from all this upcoming content on December 6th, we also saw a teaser for the Winter Wonderland event. This annual event will be returning, but it’s possible that it could have a new name, like Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride for Halloween. A few new festive skins made an appearance in the trailer including Mei and Bastion. We should be seeing this event sometime in early to mid-December.
