Call of Duty: Warzone continues to add new content to the popular battle royale game — often at the cost of your memory. The latest update added the ability for players to access the 11 bunkers scattered across the map, which had caused much intrigue. If players find red key cards, which developers added in an earlier patch, they can now open the bunkers and retrieve high-level loot. But as the old adage goes, when one doomsday bunker door opens another remains closed. Or something like that.
Unlike the other locations, bunker number 11 seems to hide more secrets. When players access it, some doors inside remained closed, unlike with the other bunkers. Leaving us with the question: What are they hiding? Luckily for us, nothing is more tenacious than a curious gamer. YouTube channel Geek Gaming Squad used a glitch to peer inside the locked off portion of the bunker using a drone. Around the 1:07 mark of the video, you can see a nuclear warhead opened on a table. There is a screenshot below. It was taken from the view of a drone so it’s a bit grainy but you can still make out a nuclear warhead.
What remains unclear is how nukes will factor into the game. Maybe COD will want to use it in a season-ending event like Fortnite has done in the past. Or possibly if a player gets enough kills it could cause an automatic which would be a throwback to previous COD games. The amount of time that Infinity Ward and Raven Software has put into Warzone leaves room for optimism. It will be exciting to see what the two teams think of next.
