Season Five Now Live In Modern Warfare And Warzone

Season Five for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone is now live bringing multiple new content to the game. The new additions include changes to locations in Verdansk as well as new multiplayer maps and weapons. New content will also be coming within the season.

Season Five Now Live In Modern Warfare And WarzoneThe next season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season five is now live in-game. The new season brings with it a host of new content including a new Battle Pass, new maps, new weapons and exciting new changes to Verdansk in Warzone.

Starting with the regular multiplayer, there is a new operator in Lerch who is available immediately upon purchasing the Battle Pass. Two new weapons are available to grind for and are available for free for all Modern Warfare players. Fan-favourite the AN-94 which last appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops II is unlocked at tier 31 with the brand new SMG the ISO unlocked at tier 16.

Two new 6v6 multiplayer maps are included within the season launch. Petrov Oil Rig is a lot bigger than the standard 6v6 multiplayer map offering larger battles. Suldal Harbour is the second multiplayer map with Infinity Ward stating that veterans fans will recognise this map from “the franchises first-ever multiplayer experiences”.

A new Ground War map in Verdansk International Airport is available today which takes the popular location in Warzone and transforms it into the regular multiplayer game mode. For all the Gunfight players out there, a new map is in the rotation in Livestock. 

Warzone has also received plenty of new content with Season five. For the first time, the stadium has opened up in Verdansk with more opportunities to loot. Players will be able to explore the filed and even explore the stands are they likely watch the chaos unfolding below them.  

The train station in Verdansk has also expanded in Season five. With these changes, Infinity Ward say it will “significantly change the overall look, feel, and tactical outlook in and around this area of the Warzone map”. 

As part of the train station revamp a new freight train will loop around the Warzone map with the opportunity for operators to use this to their tactical advantage.

Mini Royale a new game mode is out today which is a faster-paced version of Battle Royale played in a more condensed version of Verdansk.
