Top 15 Warzone Tips - Everything You Need To Know

Call of Duty Warzone mode will soon celebrate 3 years of its existence. On March 10, 2020, one of the best battle royale games ever came out, which is also free to play. It counts several hundred thousand active players who are connected via different platforms with the help of cross-platform feature. Warzone 2.0 is released for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S as well as for the PC via Steam or Battle.net launcher. In this article, we have answered the most frequently asked questions and also gave the best Warzone tips and tricks.

How Do I Get Better at Warzone?

There are a lot of tips and tricks that you can hear that will supposedly make you better at the game. These are mainly recommendations to use meta weapons, to always choose a high ground position, to push the enemy smartly and other things. You can learn all these things while actually playing the game. Also, think while you play. Every time you lose a fight, ask yourself where you went wrong. Maybe you chose a bad position, a bad weapon for that range, you didn’t use throwables or simply your opponent is having a good day.

One of the most important things is that you enjoy playing. And if you already have the feeling that it’s not going well, leave it and try it after a few hours, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. There is no shortcut to becoming good at something, only persistence and perseverance.

What Is the Best Gun in Warzone?

The best weapon in the game right now is definitely the RPK. The RPK is a light machine gun that is very lethal from all distances, it has 75 rounds and almost no recoil at all. The second best weapon is the Fennec 45 which is very fast and is used mostly for close range shooting. These two weapons in combination make the best loadout in game.

How to Have a Good Aim in Warzone

Aim assist for controllers is overpowered in Warzone 2.0. So anyone who plays on a controller has a huge advantage over those who play with a keyboard and mouse. Some would even say that Warzone is completely unfair to keyboard and mouse players, considering that every close range fight goes in favor of the joystick. If you already use a mouse, my advice is to find your ideal in-game sensitivity and simply practice on it. A slower sensitivity gives you the possibility to be precise at longer distances, while with a higher sensitivity you will be faster and more agile.

How to Get a Loadout

Getting loadouts can be difficult for a new players. Luckily, there are 3 ways to get your loadout:

  1. Buy it from the Buy Stations
  2. Complete a Stronghold
  3. Wait for the Loadout Drop

The first and simplest way is to collect enough money and purchase “Loadout Drop Marker” at the buy station. Of course, you will first need money, and you can earn them through contracts or simple looting. Contracts like safecracker give the most cash and very easily you and your teammates can collect enough money for a loadout. Another option is to land at supermarkets, gas stations or other places where there are a lot of cash registers.

Strongholds are events in marked buildings, which occur after the first zone. They are full of AI bots that you have to kill first in order to get to the bomb, which you have to defuse. Since this is a fairly easy way to get a loadout, it’s often full of people who also want it. One of the good things is that you can go to the Strongholds at any time and take the loadout, even if it was already occupied by several enemies.

Loadout drops fall a little later in the match and they all fall in a straight line, from one side to the other, inside the zone. The loadout drop icon on the map disappears when it lands, so always ping something next to it just so you can know where it is. In the next update coming to us on February 15th, there will be added two Loadout Drop Events, drops will happen on the first and fifth Circles each match.

What Is the Best Warzone Loadout?

The best loadout right now is definitely a combination of the RPK and the Fennec 45, which are also the most used guns in the game. Of course, if you are not a fan of those rifles, you can always use rifles such as TAQ-56, Lachmann 556, Veznev 9K, Kastov 762, sniper rifle Victus XMR and others. Warzone Weapon Tips

Warzone 2 in Season One provided an incredibly good range of weapons, both at close and long range. Unlike the first Warzone, the shotguns and marksman rifles have been weakened and now the LMG meta takes the stage. All guns are fairly well balanced and it’s a lot of fun to tune attachments to further improve the desired stats on your weapon.

Best Assault Rifles in Warzone

Warzone offers a wide variety of awesome automatic rifles. Every rifle can be perfect with certain attachments. The best AR weapons for Warzone 2 Season One in my opinion are:

  1. TAQ-56
  2. M4
  3. Chimera
  4. M13B
  5. Kastov-762
  6. Lachmann-556

Best Snipers in Warzone

Unlike marksman rifles, which lost their spark that they had in previous Warzone, sniper rifles have preserved their accuracy and lethality. The best snipers are:

  1. Victus XMR
  2. SIGNAL 50
  3. SP-X 80
  4. MCPR-300
  5. LA-B 330

Best SMG in Warzone

SMGs are rifles with good mobility and fast-firing bullets, so they are very useful in close range fights. Some of the best SMGs are:

  1. Fennec 45
  2. FSS Hurricane
  3. Lachmann SUB
  4. BAS-P
  5. Veznev-9K

How to Level Up Guns Fast in Warzone

The best and easiest way to level up your weapon is to play DMZ and solve contracts. By solving contracts in the DMZ and killing AI Bots, you can level up your weapons in a very short time. There are also certain Weapon XP tokens that you get from DMZ Faction missions, Battle Pass rewards or even Twitch drops. You can activate them and they will work for a certain period of time. If you bought the latest Modern Warfare II, just by playing multiplayer you can max level your weapons, which you also use in Warzone.

What Is DMZ?

DMZ is a new online game mode in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare series, in which you solve contracts, fight against AI enemies and unlock new weapons. In the DMZ, you have the opportunity to travel freely throughout the Al Mazrah map until the evacuation time expires. In addition to bots, there are also real players with whom you can even team up and make a squad of 6 players! A very fun game mod and perfect for those who want to take a break from battle royale.

Is There a SBMM in Warzone?

Skill Based Matchmaking is now a popular thing among competitive FPS games. It determines a player’s skill level based on his previous performance, and also puts players of the same skill level into the same lobby. This way you will always play against players who are on the same skill level as you. Warzone 2 has SBMM just like the previous Warzone title that came out three years ago. Of course, in case you play with a friend who has a lower or higher skill level, you can always expect players who are worse or better than you. Skill Based Matchmaking is most noticeable in Solo Queue games.

How Does a Battle Pass Work?

Battle pass in COD Warzone works by unlocking sectors on the map, each sector carries 4 + 1 items to unlock. When you unlock one whole sector, you can usually choose between two others that follow. To unlock an item, you need one token, and you get a token every time you level up. From the Battle Pass you can get various operators, skins for vehicles, cp points, new guns and also blueprint guns that contain locked attachments.

How to Add Friends in Warzone

To add a friend in Warzone, do the following:

  1. Click on “Social” located in the upper right corner
  2. Find “Add Friends”
  3. Enter the Activision ID from your friend there
  4. Click on “Send Request”

If you want to find you Activision ID:

  1. Click on Social
  2. Click on “View My Profile” above your operator
  3. Activision ID will be written on the right side

If you or your friend has a requests locked problem, I have bad news. Unfortunately, there is a well-known bug that has been present in the game since its release and most people complain about it. The bug prevents you from adding friends, seeing previous teammates or joining a party. Even if you create a group and join it, you will not be able to add friend or join the lobby. This bug is very irritating and it’s funny how Activision is unable to fix this bug for a long time or even make a functional friend system for such a big game. We can only hope that this very frustrating problem will be fixed in the next update.
