It’s been a poorly kept secret by Activision, but today we finally got the news that Captain Price will be in Call of Duty: Warzone’s fourth season and when we can expect to be donning those iconic mutton chops. COD: Warzone has been consistently throwing up rumours including a player discovering a nuke inside one of the game’s bunkers and even rumours that the battle royale is secretly hinting the next Call of Duty game in the series.
Thankfully, the Captain Price rumours can be crossed off the ever-growing list as the man himself will be a playable character in COD: Warzone’s fourth season starting June 3rd. The teaser trailer itself is just a recap of the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, so other details like the price of the battle pass and further improvements or story elements aren’t known, but we can probably expect another trailer in the coming days before launch.
It wasn’t exactly a closely guarded secret as Activision has been not-so-subtly teasing Price’s inclusion through marketing emails and the Call of Duty app. However, more Captain Price in the world is always a good thing, you’ll just have to wait until June 3rd and hope we get more details in the meantime.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC through the Battle.net app, PS4, and Xbox One.
