The Pokémon Company had a brand new Pokémon Presents with 35 minutes of announcements. There are several updates for the mobile games and for Scarlet and Violet. We also got a release date for the first part of the Scarlet and Violet DLC.
Detective Pikachu Returns Trailer
The Pokémon Presents revealed the first trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns, which is a sequel to the 3DS game. The trailer revealed new characters along with some new gameplay. Players will be able to investigate multiple crime scenes to solve cases.
Detective Pikachu Returns will be available on Nintendo Switch on October 6, 2023.
Paldea Coming to Pokémon Go
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been out for almost a year now. The Pokémon Presents revealed a teaser trailer announcing that Pokémon from the Paldea region are finally coming to Pokémon Go in September.
Pokémon Go Fests and Legendaries
It was announced that three new Go Fests will be in London, Osaka, and New York in August. Diancie will be available for the first time alongside Rayquaza, who will both be able to Mega Evolve.

Pokémon Trading Card Game & Pokémon Stadium 2 on NSO
Nintendo Switch Online is going to get two new Pokémon games. The first one announced in the Pokémon Presents was the Pokémon Trading Card Game, originally released on the Gameboy Color. Pokémon Stadium 2 is also coming to the N64 Online just a few months after the first one was released on the service.

Mew and Mewtwo Coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Fans can obtain the legendary Pokémon Mew and Mewtwo in Scarlet and Violet. Mew will be available through the Mystery Gift menu. Once players enter the password GETY0URMEW, they will get Mew with a random tera type. The password is valid through September 18.

Mewtwo will be available through a Tera Raid battle starting on September 1.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC
We got a new look at the first DLC expansion for Scarlet and Violet, The Teal Mask. The trailer showed new characters players will interact with, along with a plethora of new Pokémon that players can catch. The Teal Mask will be available on September 13, 2023.
