1. The Airport Control Tower

Just opposite Verdansk International Airport there’s a high tower alongside the runway (shown in the shot directly below). That’s the airport’s control tower, which is one of the best sniping locations on Warzone’s map. The top room of that control tower, which overlooks the runway, provides fantastic 360-degree views for players to snip from. From there, you can shoot at players along the expansive open runway, on the airport’s roof, around Bloc 17, and around Bloc 16 to the east. Even players along Gora Dam are feasibly within sniping range from the control tower. Much of the control tower’s surrounding landscape is open, which makes sniping easier.

The control tower is quite a popular spot for players. Sometimes you might need to take on some hostiles in and around the tower to get to the top of it. It can be quite tricky to dislodge players already within the tower’s small control room as there’s only one small staircase entrance to it.

2. Zordaya Prison Complex

The Zordaya Prison Complex, at the bottom right corner of the map, is a big castle that provides magnificent views of expansive and open landscape around Verdansk Port and Krovnik Farmland from its highest points. The four fortified towers at the front of Zordaya are its best sniping positions from which you can shoot at players outside and within the complex. Those towers provide excellent return fire cover for snipers situated on them. It’s also extremely tricky to dislodge players on them at close quarters as you’ve got to climb ladders to get to them.

There are also numerous lower towers around the walls of Zordaya. Those towers are also good sniping spots, which provide decent viewpoints of the surrounding landscape and Zordaya’s internal courtyard. However, some of them are a little exposed to players positioned on the higher towers.

3. Apartment Block at Promenade East

Promenade East is one of the more prominent city blocs on the map that includes numerous relatively low building rooftops for players to snipe from. The highest apartment building at Promenade East, shown in the shot directly below, is among the best sniping positions in Verdansk. That apartment provides good views of more open, albeit forested, between the train station and hospital. You can also pick off players situated on many lower rooftops around the building or on the ground in Promenade East.

4. The Communications Tower at BCH TV Station

The top of the very high communications tower by the BCH TV Station is an ideal sniping position. It provides a great view of an open landscape to the east. From there, you can shoot down at players on the large rooftop of the BCH TV Station. You can also snipe hostiles on all the other lower rooftops around the communications tower and those moving out from Bloc 5. The tower provides reasonable cover from return fire, and there’s no chance any player can take you out at close quarters. When you need to vacate the tower, the rooftop of the BCH TV Station is a very convenient spot to parachute to.

The only drawback of sniping from this communication tower is that it can be risky to approach and climb it. Somebody might spot you running toward the tower, which is surrounded by nearby buildings, and there’s scant cover around it. If somebody spots you climbing the tower’s high ladder, you’ll probably wind up in the Gulag pretty sharpish. So, it’s not always a good idea to try climbing up this tower when you suspect there are lots of hostiles nearby.

5. The Downtown building overlooking Tavorsk

Downtown includes lots of high-rise buildings that are suitable for sniping. The best buildings for sniping there are those with rooftops along the edges of Downtown that provide clear views of open landscapes. There are some more open landscapes along the south, east, and northwest sides of Downtown.

The Downtown building circled on the map directly below is a good spot for sniping. Although that’s not the highest Downtown building, its rooftop provides an excellent view of Tavorsk Park. With the exception of one building, Tavorsk Park is wide open terrain that includes precious little cover from snipers. So, the rooftop that overlooks Tavorsk is a great spot from which to pick off players picnicking at the park.

You’ll need to climb the ladder outside the building to get on its rooftop. From there, you can see almost all the park and some of the port area. If you prefer to do some shorter range sniping, you can move along the rooftop to look for players within Downtown or strolling through the area just below the building’s rooftoop.

6. Verdansk Stadium

This might be a more obvious sniping location, but there’s no doubting that the rooftop of Verdansk Stadium provides some of the best views of the map. The stadium has a massive rooftop that provides plenty of different sniping positions. You can snipe players moving through the wide-open landscapes along the eastern and southern sides of the stadium. Or you can shoot down hostiles running from the stadium’s western side toward Downtown.

You can land on the stadium’s rooftop with a helicopter. There are also a few ropes along the sides of the stadium you can climb up to get on top of it. When you’re up there, enjoy the splendid views!

However, there are a few drawbacks to sniping from the rooftop of Verdansk Stadium. Firstly, the rooftop is wide open and provides little to no cover from return fire. Secondly, players can sneak up on you when you’re sniping, as the stadium’s rooftop is very big. So, you’ll need to be careful of hostiles climbing atop the stadium’s roof.
