FIFA 23 Pro Clubs: The Best Builds

This is a complete guide on how to create the best possible FIFA 23 Pro Clubs player builds in order to dominate the pitch. Ever since the game mode's debut in FIFA 09, players have been eagerly trying to lift the Division 1 trophy. These builds will guarantee your success!

Fifa 23 Pro Clubs The Best Builds

The best player builds in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs are often ones that stick closely to the meta. Pro Clubs is a fun game mode allows you to play with up to 11 of your friends, forming a uniquely built squad of comrades. The ultimate goal being winning the Division 1 title. However, first you must know which skills to invest your skill points in and what perks are the most useful. Not only that, but knowing the perfect height, weight and exact position for your player is vital in ensuring your player is fit to be the greatest. If you’re seeking out glory and want to win more with your friends, then this guide is definitely for you.

Speedy Gonzales: The Pace Merchant

This build is generally for wingers or wide midfielders. The goal is to build a lean and rapid player that can outpace opponents on the counter attack.

  • Position: RW
  • Height: 5’3”
  • Weight: 99 LBS
  • Preferred Foot: Left

In terms of skill points, investing most of them in pace is a must in order to unlock the ‘Cheetah Archetype’. This grants you +6 pace and +6 acceleration, making you the fastest player on the pitch. However, speed is meaningless if your player feels a bit clunky. Therefore, you must spend some of your skill points towards increasing your agility, balance, ball control and dribbling.

The final few skill points you remain with should either go towards passing or shooting. More specifically, shot power or crossing. It ultimately depends if you want to sprint down the wing or outpace the last defender. In terms of perks, I’d suggest ‘Skilled Dribbler‘ or ‘Tireless Runner‘. These will increase your overall mobility and smoothness on the ball. Gameplay wise, you’re looking to pick up the ball from midfield and sprint down the line. A lot of the time, your teammates will send long balls your way. Having incredibly high pace and dribbling guarantees that you not only get the ball first, but you control it correctly too.

Defensive Beast: The Impenetrable Wall

While most people prefer to play offense, the importance of defense cannot be understated. Letting the CPU control your centrebacks can get messy sometimes, leading to some stupid goals. This can be avoided by building an absolute unit of a soldier to defend your goal from the opposition.

  • Position: CB/CDM/RB
  • Height: 6’2”-6’7”
  • Weight: 179 LBS
  • Preferred Foot: Right

It goes without saying that spending your skill points on physical and defensive attributes is a must-do. If you’re a defender that likes to play long balls to the strikers or play as a CDM in midfield, then focus on increasing your long passing next. Pace is obviously essential in FIFA, however, as a CB, you can do just fine by shoving the opponent off the ball once they get close or jockeying. That being said, try and keep your pace above 70 as any lower than that will be far too slow. FIFA 23 has enhanced defending mechanics, therefore having a strong, tall player will increases your chances of intercepting the ball.

In case your unable to correctly distribute your skill points fairly and find yourself sacrificing a lot of defensive stats to increase your pace, you can simply shorten your player or decrease their weight for some added speed. In fact, you can even set your position to RB, thus granting you some extra sprint speed and acceleration. Distributing your points heavily in defending will grant you the ‘Guardian’ archetype which significantly increase your interceptions, tackling and defensive awareness. The best perks to use as defensive-minded player are; Set Piece Beacon, Ball Winner, Physical Strength, and/or Last Defender. Last thing to note is to always keep an eye out for the defensive line. A big part of defending is being able to let the opposing striker wander offside. Remember, whilst you are a defender, you’re still expected to score goals so pay attention when there’s a corner or set piece!

Sharpshooter: The Lewandowski

Everybody loves to score goals. There are very few feelings that match that of scoring a 90th minute goal to put your team ahead. This build will help you become as clinical as possible, finishing every shot you take. Always keep an eye on the keeper and where he’s standing. If he comes off his line, don’t be afraid to chip. As a bonus, you can skill around him if you’ve unlocked the ‘Flair‘ trait or have solid dribbling stats. The most important thing: Don’t miss a penalty. Your friends will kill you for it!

  • Position: CF
  • Height: 6’0”
  • Weight: 99 LBS
  • Preferred Foot: Right

First of all, setting your position to CF rather than ST increases your pace by a small yet vital margin. You’ll want to dump your skill points in finishing, shot power and long Shots. You’ll be able to unlock the ‘Finisher’ archetype which drastically improves your long shots, whilst also giving reasonable boosts to your finishing and volleys. Any remaining points should go towards increasing your heading accuracy, strength, pace and dribbling. Make sure to have a well-rounded player that isn’t too slow nor clunky. The best perk to use for this build is by far the ‘Distance Shooter‘ perk. Equipping it will make scoring outside of the box goals seem so easy, especially with FIFA 23’s trivela meta.

Using these builds with your friends as you climb up to Division 1 will definitely increase your team’s win rate. You must also ensure that all teammates are on the same wavelength. That is best done if you are constantly communicating during games. Chemistry is a big part of winning, so make sure everyone knows their role correctly. You don’t want your defenders wandering too high up on the pitch. Likewise, you wouldn’t want your striker to drop back near the fullbacks. Everything has to be organized in order to play liquid football. Another thing to note is whether or not using AI to control ‘any’ is good. Typically, having the best FIFA player control ‘any’ works best, but the AI can still hold its own against most squads.
