Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree | All Remembrance Duplication Locations in the DLC

In this quick and easy guide, we'll show you where to find all three of the new Remembrance duplication locations in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Shadow Lands have added three new headless tombs which players can use to duplicate the Remembrances they've earned from tough bosses in either the base game or the DLC.

Remembrances are some of the most important items in all of Elden Ring and the same is true in its newest DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. If you’re successful in conquering the most dangerous and key bosses in the Lands Between or the Lands of Shadow, you’ll obtain their Remembrance. Take that Remembrance to the Finger Reader in the Roundtable Hold and you can earn some sweet new loot, including equipment and spells based on the boss you took the Remembrance from: whether it be Radahn’s mighty great swords or the powerful moon sorceries of Rennala, Remembrances offer players access to some of the best gear in the game.

In Shadow of the Erdtree, several new Remembrance bosses have been added. However, you can only choose one reward from redeeming each Remembrance, despite there being multiple rewards on offer: this means that, in a single run, you’ll only be able to get half of the available Remembrance rewards. Fortunately, you can duplicate a certain number of Remembrances by finding special Mausoleums around the map. With Shadow of the Erdtree, three new Remembrance duplication Mausoleums have been added to the game, giving all Tarnished three more opportunities to get the gear from their favourite bosses.

All Remembrance Duplication Locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

Similar to how all of the original Remembrance duplication spots in the base game of Elden Ring were located in the imposing Walking Mausoleums, the DLC’s Remembrance duplication locations can all be found within, or nearby, the strange and mysterious Finger Ruins. The Finger Ruins are massive, primordial stretches of the Shadow Lands where giant, primitive carvings of fingers cover the entire area. They’re also the home, and origin, of the Fingercrawler and Lampfrey enemies.

The Remembrances you can duplicate at these Shadow of the Erdtree Mausoleums include all of the Remembrances you obtained from the base game, as well as all of the Remembrance bosses you’ve beaten from the DLC. That means there are 25 different Remembrances that you can duplicate from these tombs (15 from base Elden Ring and 10 from Shadow of the Erdtree).

If you’d like to know where to find each of the three Finger Ruins, as well as how to complete the questline associated with them from Count Ymir, you can check our recent guide on the subject here on KeenGamer.

Finger Ruins of Rhia Remembrance Duplication Location

Shadow of the Erdtree’s first Remembrance duplication spot can be found in the Finger Ruins of Rhia, the southmost set of Finger Ruins in the Lands of Shadow. The only way to access this set of Ruins is via the Cerulean Coast, one of the DLC’s most beautiful and haunting locals. Fortunately, there’s a Site of Grace right at the start of the Finger Ruins for easy access.

Starting at the Finger Ruins of Rhia Site of Grace, head down the hill past the Fingercrawlers. However, instead of going all the way down towards the bell at the Ruin’s heart, take a detour up a narrow path on the right. This will take up to a new area, one which is also filled with Fingercawlers.

Nestled between a collection of several gigantic finger statues, you’ll find the first headless tomb which marks the Remembrance duplication spot. These tombs are the exact same ones you can find within the Walking Mausoleums in the Lands Between. To duplicate a Remembrance, simply interact with the tomb and select the Remembrance you want to redeem.

Finger Ruins of Dheo Remembrance Duplication Location

The second Remembrance duplication spot in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is located in the Fingers Ruins of Dheo, easily the most difficult set of Finger Ruins to reach in the game.

That’s because the Ruins are in the Hinterland, a secret area behind the Shadow Keep which only has one hidden entrance. In short, to unlock access to the Finger Ruins of Dheo, you’ll need to find the O Mother Gesture and unlock access to the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace (which, in and of itself, involves clearing out a large portion of the Shadow Keep legacy dungeon).

Once you make it to the Hinterlands, continue until you reach the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace. This marks the beginning of the Finger Ruins of Dheo and is the closest Site of Grace to the next duplication spot. To reach the tomb, hop onto Torrent and ride down past the hill towards the main area of the Finger Ruins. You’ll need to ride past a small army of Fingercrawlers but keep an eye out on the left side of the road.

After you see two massive finger statues pop up on the left, ride between them and start heading north towards the cliffside. After passing by another group of Fingercrawlers – including several larger ones which prove quite bothersome if you don’t take care of them – you should soon find the headless tomb planted on the side of the cliff, overlooking the ocean. Now you just need to examine the remains and claim the second new duplicated Remembrance for yourself.

Cathedral of Manus Metyr Remembrance Duplication Location

The third, and final, Remembrance duplication spot in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, is located near the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. This is the Cathedral where Count Ymir, the quest giver of the Finger Ruin questline, resides with his loyal retainer Jolan. The Finger Ruin questline is actually incredibly important, with it eventually leading to a secret Remembrance boss in and of itself. As we mentioned earlier, if you’d like to know more about this quest and how to complete it, check out our Ymir quest guide on KeenGamer for more information

As for the Remembrance duplication tomb, you’ll find it directly behind the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. From the Cathedral Site of Grace, head out the right door into the small graveyard and then hop over the wall. Continue heading south towards the back end of the Cathedral and eventually, on the edge of the water surrounding the area, will be the headless tomb of the last Remembrance duplication spot in the Elden Ring DLC.

That was where to find all three of the new Remembrance duplication areas in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. The Mausoleums can only duplicate a single Remembrance one time per game so use them wisely.
