Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Bundle Physically and Digitally Available

A bundle pack of Pokémon Sword and Shield with the expansion pass is available now in physical or digital editions. There's also a couple of new Legendary Pokémon to spur players to make a purchase. Spur, because they're horses. It's a horse joke.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Bundle to Release November 6thNintendo and The Pokémon Company announced today that new bundle packages of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are now available at participating retailers worldwide. Each contains the base game and all of the content of the Expansion Pass on one cartridge, or as one purchase if players choose to go with a digital copy. The bundles each have a MSRP of $89.99, or the same price of the game and the expansion pass separately.

This also comes with the announcement that new Legendary Pokémon have been discovered as part of The Crown Tundra, Galistrier and Spectrier. These nimble horse Pokémon help uncover more of the story of Calyrex, the poster Pokémon of the content update.

New Legendary Pokémon Discovered in #PokemonSwordShieldEX!

Those who pick up a copy of Pokémon Sword + Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass or Pokémon Shield + Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass (that is a mouthful!) will get everything released as part of the Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra packages. In addition, players will get 100 Poké Balls and the Pikachu and Eevee Uniforms, which were previously only a bonus for purchasing the game and expansion pass.

Galistrier and Spectrier are Ice and Ghost-type, respectively. These equine embodiments of their elements both feature new abilities that haven’t been seen before The Crown Tundra. According to the story, Calyrex defeated and then bonded with Galistrier and Spectrier, resulting in two more Legendary Pokémon, Ice Rider Calyrex and Shadow Rider Calyrex.
