Square Enix has announced an announcement for an announcement (heh). Kidding aside, many players are speculating that this announcement will be about an upcoming expansion to the already glorious line-up of expansions. Final Fantasy XIV‘s latest expansion, Shadowbringers, has had great success and is the highest-rated expansion the game has to date. The community is already hyped for their next expansion and are expecting it to be as good as Shadowbringers.
Final Fantasy XIV is a celebrated MMORPG from Square Enix released in 2010. Its initial release wasn’t up to standards and the game had to be shut down because of its bad reception. The game was built from the ground up and released again in 2013 with a much modern feel to it, which is now the Final Fantasy XIV people love to this date. The game is still healthy with a big player base rivaling that of World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2. Shadowbringers has been met with critical acclaim and has won various awards in different game award shows.
