In the latest Final Fantasy XVI Live Letter, Director Naoki Yoshida revealed new information on how jobs will be improved in the upcoming expansion Stormblood. Yoshida also introduced fans to two new jobs, Samurai and Red Mage, as well as new actions for current jobs of Dragoon and Bard. Take a look below!
Final Fantasy XVI: Stormblood launches June 20th. It was originally believed that players would not be able to access Stormblood's content without having completed some time consuming prerequisites, which included over a dozen story driven quests originally released with the Heavensward launch as well as the forty-four that were added in later updates. However, today it was announced that developer Square Enix will now be allowing players to skip these tasks,… for a fee.
If you purchase Tales of Adventure: A Realm Reborn for $18, this will flag all main scenario quests from 2.0 through 2.55 as complete. For $25, Tales of Adventure: Heavensward will flag all main scenario quests 2.0 through 3.56 complete. A job level boost will also be available for all characters except Samurai and Red Mage.
