The Outer Worlds is coming to Nintendo Switch

Take-Two Interactive, the company that holds The Outer World’s publisher, Private Division, as a subsidiary, shared with investors and analysts during a financial conference call that the game has been performing well with critical praise and its high volume of sales.

Unfortunately, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, stated that it’s far too early to release the expect figures but The Outer Worlds is “outperforming expectations handily”, inspiring confidence for the Nintendo Switch port.

For the release date, Take-Two Interactive has said it’s aiming for early 2020. Hopefully, this will be as soon as possible within 2020’s first quarter, January to March.

For those unfamiliar, The Outer Worlds is an epic space adventure RPG. Awaking as a colonist after a 70-year hibernation, you come to face the edge of the galaxy that’s abound with control by the governing corporations. As you explore the game’s beautiful, vibrant world, you’re met with missions involving various factions and characters that will join you on your quest. Being a player-driven story, the actions and choices you make affect the final outcome of this captivating narrative.
