After the previous Winter Neverland Update, SHIFT UP prepares another major update to welcome New Year’s Eve, New Year, New Sword. There will be tons of new content, updates, and events to commemorate the festivities, ranging from a new Pilgrim Nikke, Scarlet: Black Shadow, a costume for Noise, a limited-time Story Event, and multiple Recruit Vouchers for players to enjoy.
After several hours of maintenance, the New Year’s Eve update will commence on December 28, 2023. Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available on Windows, Android, and iOS.

Scarlet: Black Shadow, the Latest Pilgrim Nikke
The star of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE New Year’s Eve update is the arrival of a new Pilgrim Nikke, Scarlet: Black Shadow, who finally joins the fray alongside her partners with her past form to combat the Raptures and reclaim the surface.
Scarlet: Black Shadow’s weapon of choice is a Rocket Launcher, Fleetly Fading, and her attacking methods allow her to quickly slash her enemies thanks to her inherently quick Charge Speed. When she uses her Burst Skill, the attack count limits are eased to allow her to dominate the battlefield with unparalleled prowess.
Moreover, Modernia, which is last year’s New Year’s Eve banner, will return alongside Scarlet: Black Shadow to grace the game once again.
Both Scarlet: Black Shadow and Modernia will greet the Commanders on Goddess of Victory: NIKKE from January 1 until January 18, 2024. To obtain them, players can recruit them through Lobby → Recruit → Special Recruit.

Other Updates in the New Year, New Sword Event
Apart from the main attractions of this update, Scarlet: Black Shadow and Modernia, the game will see many updates and benefits such as the Limited-Time Story Event, New Year, New Sword, tons of free Recruit Vouchers, and the return of both Solo Raid and Union Raid.
A party is being held at the Outpost to usher in the New Year. There, you run across Scarlet, who managed to sneak into the Outpost. To watch the sunrise, Scarlet heads to the surface once more and shares past memories of time spent with her sister.
The event lasts from the end of December 28, 2023 maintenance to 4:59:59, January 11, 2024 (UTC+9).
In addition to that, SHIFT UP will pair the Limited-Time Story Event with a 7-Day Login Event, where players can get Recruit Vouchers and development materials when they log in for 7 days straight. Moreover, there will be a Sunrise Pass where you can earn the Special Costume for Liter, Liter – Cute Sunflower after you purchase the Pass and gain levels through daily missions.
In addition to the contents above, players will face two toughest challenges in the game for New Year’s Eve, Solo Raid and Union Raid. Solo Raid is a challenge where players mobilize squads to challenge the boss and obtain Harmony Cubes. Special Frames and Gems will be awarded according to the rankings. Solo Raid runs from January 4 to January 15, 2024.
Meanwhile, the Union Raid returns from December 29 until January 4, 2024, when players can mobilize parties and coordinate with their Union members to challenge the bosses and obtain Union Chips to exchange them for rewards.
Lastly, there will be a new Costume Gacha to commemorate Goddess of Victory: NIKKE New Year update, in which we will see Noise in her latest Costume, Noise – Classic Diva, fully fitted with a new voice-over, Burst Skill animation, standing pose, and special SD model.
