Ubisoft has announced their big plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC on Twitter. Apparently, like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey before it, Valhalla will be getting a bunch of post-launch content for players to enjoy. Specifically, players will be able to travel to Ireland in the first expansion, called “Wrath of the Druids”, which should come out in Spring 2021 and has Eivor face off against a mysterious and dangerous cult in Ireland. The second expansion, taking place in France, is named “The Siege of Paris”, which is exactly that: players can participate in the Viking siege of Paris and can also try new gameplay activities.
Two major expansions, free content drops, and announcing the Discovery Tour mode!

Although these expansions are part of a paid season pass, there will also be new free content for Valhalla. Outside of the season pass, Ubisoft will add “seasonal content” to the game; for example, we’ll be getting a Yule Festival update in December. And, the new Discovery Mode will be available in the future. This mode lets players explore the game’s historic world without the fear of constant combat. Plus, content is set to introduce new gameplay mechanics that should keep the game fresh for players. While Ubisoft provided more specifics in an article on its website, its intentions are already clear. There’s plenty of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC coming whether you pay for it or not.
