Naga Combat Overview

Let’s look at Naga’s Nikke Skills to start the guide. As a Supporter Nikke, she mainly provides offensive buffs for her teammates. Let’s start with her Skill 1, Guardian of Friendship, which has two attributes with two different triggers. The first one activates after Naga launches 12 Normal Attacks, where she will recover all allies’ Cover HP by up to 14.57%. The second one activates only after Naga receives a Shield effect from any of her allies, where in turn, Naga will increase their damage dealt when attacking core by up to 85.17% for 10 seconds.

Meanwhile, her Skill 2, Support of Friendship, also has two attributes but this time, the trigger for both is the same, which happens after Naga lands 5 Normal Attacks. The first buff targets 2 ally units with the highest ATK, in which Naga increases their damage dealt when attacking core by up to 40.07% for 5 seconds. As for the second buff, Naga seeks 2 ally units with the lowest HP percentage, granting them HP recovery equal to 9.58% of Naga’s final Max HP.

Lastly, her Burst Skill, As Long As We’re With Friends, many things are going on at once. First, Naga gains Pierce for herself for 10 seconds. Second, she increases all allies’ ATK by up to 16.18% of her ATK for 10 seconds. Finally, if she still has a Shield effect from any of her allies when she casts her Burst Skill, then Naga will further increase all allies’ ATK by up to 31.02% of her ATK for 10 seconds.

Overall, Naga is an incredibly powerful offensive Supporter Nikke that provides strong ATK buffs through her Skills. However, since she is a Burst 2 Nikke that has 20 seconds cooldown, she can’t pair with other Burst 2 Nikkes with the same cooldown time, which is a problem since Naga needs Shielder to enable some of her buffs, and most Shielders are Burst 2, making Naga relatively ineffective without Tia, who will arrive on October 12.

To summarize, we have provided a table that highlights Naga’s strengths and weaknesses below:

Strengths Weaknesses
A very strong Burst 2 Nikke that can contend Blanc’s place as the best offensive Supporter Needs Tia to fully unleash her powerful buffs to all allies
Even as a Supporter Nikke, Naga’s damage is relatively good, and paired with her ATK buffs, she can be a powerful Shotgun unit for your team Conflicts with other Burst 2 Nikkes who have the same cooldown as her, making some of her buffs practically unused if you pair her with Blanc or Centi
Naga can provide substantial additional damage to her allies when they attack Raptures’ core, which is valuable against Interception Bosses While Pierce is an incredibly strong tool to destroy Raptures’ core, Naga does not provide that buff for her allies

Skills Priority

Now that you know Naga’s Skills, it’s time to move on to her Skills Priority. As she is a Supporter Nikke, here is the hierarchy of what you should upgrade first (in descending order):

  • Support of Friendship: Naga’s Skill 2 is simply her best Skill, as this one does not need complex triggers to activate. Moreover, this Skill’s buffs focus on both healing and increasing Naga’s allies’ attack stat, two things that are crucial during battles.
  • As Long As We’re With Friends: The next Skill to prioritize is her Burst Skill, As Long As We’re With Friends. This Skill is Naga’s main source of providing ATK buffs to her allies, while also gaining Pierce for herself, allowing her to help her team deal massive damage against Raptures.
  • Guardian of Friendship: Lastly, Skill 1 has the lowest priority simply because of how restrictive it is. Unless you pair her with Tia, which is not available until October 12, then half of Naga’s Skill 1 is rendered useless.

Best Equipment Substats

Since Naga is a Supporter-Class Nikke, she can only use the corresponding equipment designated for that Class. Although not mandatory, Naga can shine better when you give her multiple Overload Tier buffs. Still, if you don’t have any Missilis equipment, then leveling them up to level 5 is more than enough.

However, if you do have excess equipment and wish to place them on Naga, I recommend you to look out for Increase Max Ammunition and Increase ATK sub-stats if you wish to upgrade her equipment to Overload Tier to add some firepower to her kit.

Naga’s Potential Team Composition

As for her potential teammates, Naga is very flexible, though she’s a Nikke that won’t work well with other Burst 2 Nikke with similar cooldown times, and she needs Tia to unleash her maximum output. With that in mind, we will only list down one potential lineup for Naga in this Goddess of Victory: NIKKE guide.

Scarlet + Alice Lineup

For this team, we recommend using Liter, Naga, Scarlet, Alice/Modernia, and Flex Burst 3.

This team composition is fairly compromising when it comes to Burst 1 Nikkes, though you should always choose units that have 20 seconds of Burst Skill cooldown, such as Liter or Dorothy, both of which provide strong offensive buffs to your team.

Moving on to the Burst 2 Nikke slot, Naga will take that spot as her Burst Skill cooldown is only 20 seconds, fitting a team composition like this one where Burst 3 Nikkes are the focus. Naga will act as the main Supporter and Healer for the team, providing the DPS units with the necessary tools to survive every battle.

However, though very strong on paper, as you will use both Scarlet and Alice or Modernia in this team lineup, two Nikkes that can easily defeat the Raptures fast, the rate of healing from Naga is somewhat unreliable as she can only heal 2 allies with the lowest HP percentage at a time, making it difficult to consistently heal the units that do need healing most of the time. Still, this is arguably Naga’s current best possible team composition, so you should always try using this lineup if you want to use Naga.

When Tia arrives on Goddess of Victory: NIKKE on October 12, you should switch out Liter for Tia, as Naga and Tia must be paired together to maximize their potential, just like the Duo Bunny Blanc and Noir.

Naga’s Overall Power Rank

Now that we’ve gone through Naga’s Skills and her Team potential, it’s time to talk about her usability in every content within the game. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, there are many challenges that players must face, such as Interception, Arena, and Tribe Towers. As stated before, Naga is an incredibly strong unit, though currently some of her kits are not optimized, and must wait for her pair, Tia, which only arrives on October 12.

And so, to close off this Naga Nikke guide, we will provide a table that includes her usability against all game contents, including Interception and PvP Arena, to provide insight into what types of content she’s strong in and which are the ones you should avoid using her.

For clarity, the ratings below are differentiated on whether you pull for Tia once she arrives in the game. The left rating is when you only use Naga, and the right rating is when you’re using both Naga and Tia within your team lineup.

Type of Content

Usability Rank

(E – SS)

Explanations
Campaign Stages (Early) S – SS If you’re still in Early Campaign Stages (Chapters 1 – 16), any kind of Supporter Nikke is highly valuable, since they can help boost your team’s damage and survivability. Naga checks both boxes thanks to her solid offensive and healing buffs to her allies.
Campaign Stages (Late) A – SS Even in Campaign Stages Chapter 17+, Naga remains a solid pick for your Burst 2 Nikke, and she will be more potent once Tia arrives to pair with her.
PvP Arena B – S Naga’s position in PvP Arena is quite peculiar. On one hand, her buffs can make your DPS units destroy the enemy’s lineups easily, however, her defensive capabilities are lacking, so there’s a chance that Naga will die before the battle ends, making your lineup vulnerable.
Interception S – SS In Interception, Naga’s usability can even contend with the Duo Bunny (Blanc and Noir), though once again, she needs Tia to do so. Apart from that, Naga’s inherent offensive buffs are super strong against any Interception Bosses, so you can use her in every lineup you have.

And that’s the character guide for Naga for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
