Emilia Combat Overview

Let’s look at Emilia’s Nikke Skills to start the guide. As an Attacker Nikke, Emilia can deliver a crushing blow through her Burst Skill, much like Snow White’s ability.

Emilia’s Skill 1, Lesser Spirit’s Blessing, allows Emilia to enjoy two buffs whenever she launches a Full Charge attack. The first buff enhances her Charge Speed for 1 bullet, while the second enhancement gives her bonus Charge Damage for every unit in her final Max Ammunition Capacity, and just like the first buff, lasts only for 1 bullet, though with her nature as a Rocket Launcher Nikke, she can practically enjoy her Skill 1’s buffs continuously.

As for Emilia’s Skill 2, Great Spirit’s Mace, also activates whenever Emilia shoots a Full Charge attack, only this time, the Skill affects her enemies. Emilia will deal fixed damage to the enemies’ main body for a percentage of her damage, strengthening her AoE capabilities.

In addition to those Skills, Emilia possesses a unique Burst Skill for a Rocket Launcher Nikke, Freezing Witch, where she will, for one bullet only, act as a Sniper Rifle Nikke. Freezing Witch reduces her Charge Speed tremendously, but at the same time, Emilia also gains a massive Charge Damage bonus. However, keep in mind that during this charging phase, Emilia is vulnerable to Raptures, so bringing Healers and other Supporter Nikkes is essential to ensure her survival.

Overall, while most of the time she is a Rocket Launcher Nikke, Emilia’s Burst Skill grants her the perfect capability to burst down the enemies thanks to the massive Charge Damage bonus, though at a cost.

Strengths and Weaknesses

As with every Nikkes in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Emilia also has her strengths and weaknesses against different content types within the game, as we have curated in the next part of this guide:

Strengths Weaknesses
Emilia has one of the best Burst regeneration in the game, thanks to her base explosion range slightly larger than normal, allowing her to hit three enemies at once in PvP Arena. Emilia’s Base ATK Stat is one of the lowest in the Rocket Launcher category, and she solely relies on her Full Charge attacks to start gaining her innate buffs, all of which don’t increase her ATK.
Emilia’s firepower allows you to use her in an Auto-Battle environment, without having to worry that you’ll lose out on her DPS output.
Emilia lacks the power to target Bosses’ weak spots, which makes her pretty much unable to topple other meta Burst 3 Nikkes in terms of raw power.
Emilia’s Rocket Launcher shots act like Centi’s, meaning that you can spam her shots in Campaign Stages to gain Burst meter faster.
There are a lot of Electric Code Nikkes that can kill Emila in PvP Arena, with notable examples being Scarlet and Anis: Sparkling Summer.

Skills Priority

Once you know Emilia’s Skills, it’s time to move on to her Skills Priority. As she is an Attacker Nikke, here is the hierarchy of what you should upgrade first (in descending order):

  • Freezing Witch: Emilia’s Burst Skill, Freezing Witch, is simply her best part of the kit, no question. With the style switch, making her go from a Rocket Launcher Nikke to a Sniper Rifle for one bullet gives her a massive potential to burst down any Rapture you want to topple. I recommend getting her Burst Skill to Level 7, as this breakpoint is also useful in PvP Arena, in which Emilia can strike all 5 Nikkes on the opposing team.
  • Great Spirit’s Mace: The next Skill to prioritize is her Skill 2, Great Spirit Mace. Thanks to its bonus damage to enemies’ parts paired with bonus Max Ammunition Capacity, it will be beneficial for Emilia if you can bring this Skill’s Level to 7.
  • Lesser Spirit’s Blessing: Emilia’s Skill 1 is the weakest link of her kit, as the percentage bonus is meager and doesn’t provide her with enough juice to justify upgrading it beyond Level 4.

Best Equipment Substats

Since Emilia is an Attacker-Class Nikke, she can only use the corresponding equipment designated for that Class. In addition to that, Emilia is a very needy Nikke and requires at least one or two Overload Gears on her.

With that in mind, I recommend you to look out for Increase Max Ammunition, Increase Charge Speed, Increase Charge Damage, and Increase Elemental Damage sub-stats for Emilia’s optimal DPS output.

Emilia’s Potential Team Composition

As for her potential teammates, Emilia is incredibly versatile thanks to her kit, which allows her to enhance her Full Charge attacks, meaning that any ATK buff provider will work well with Emilia. So, with those things to remember, in this Goddess of Victory: NIKKE guide, we will list down two potential lineups for Emilia, one for PvP Arena, and the other for PvE content.

Emilia’s Time to Shine

As stated previously, Emilia as a Rocket Launcher Nikke is quite potent in terms of both her explosion range and her ability to regenerate Burst meter incredibly fast.

This PvP team is designed to help those points shine, and so, the team composition will have Emilia, Blanc, Centi, Red Hood, and Jackal.

The objective of this team is simple: Use Indomitability on Emilia, and wait for the opposing team to die by her hands. Simple, yet deadly. However, remember that a Nikke like Noah can still counter this team if you’re not careful, so you should analyze your opponent before using Emilia in one of your lineups.

Duo Bunnies/Duo JK + Emilia

The duo Nikkes are super crazy good with Emilia, as each pair can complement Emilia’s kit nicely. This is your go-to team for Campaign Stages or Interception if you decide to bring Emilia in as your main Burst 3 Nikke.

Liter will, once again, act as the resident Burst 1 Nikke that can provide bonus ATK, which Emilia severely lacks, and repair her allies’ cover. Meanwhile, the Burst 2 Nikkes, Blanc, and Tia provide a bonus damage multiplier while giving Emilia some defensive prowess to keep her alive. As for Naga and Noir, they can also back Emilia through their offensive buffs.

Overall, you have two options regarding Emilia’s PvE teams: Either bring Blanc and Noir or have Naga and Tia support her. Usually, your team will look like one of these:

  • Liter, Blanc, Noir, Emilia, and Flex Burst 3 Nikke (Modernia/Alice/Red Hood).
  • Liter, Naga, Tia, Emilia, and Flex Burst 3 Nikke (Modernia/Alice/Red Hood).

Emilia’s Overall Power Rank

Now that we’ve gone through Emilia’s Skills and her Team potential, it’s time to talk about her usability in every content within the game. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, there are many challenges that players must face, such as Interception, Arena, and Tribe Towers.

As stated before, Emilia can become a potent Burst 3 Nikke for powerful teams that are currently in the game. However, there are some drawbacks that you must consider before you think about placing her in a team lineup.

And so, to close off this Emilia Nikke guide, we will provide a table that includes her usability against all game contents, including Interception and PvP Arena, to provide insight into what types of content she’s strong in and which are the ones you should avoid using her.

Power Rank Table

Type of Content

Usability Rank

(E – SS)

Explanations
Campaign Stages (Early) S If you’re still in the Early Campaign Stages (Chapters 1 – 16), Emilia can tear down any opponent here, and even more so with the help of the right Supporter characters like Liter and the Duos.
Campaign Stages (Late) S Starting in Campaign Stages Chapter 17+, the Raptures become tougher, but Emilia can remain a strong presence and a good main Burst 3 Nikke in your team. Even if you feel she’s not enough, you can put her as the secondary DPS unit, maximizing her amazing Burst regeneration rate.
PvP Arena A Emilia has one of the strongest explosion ranges in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and you can capitalize on that fact and mow down multiple enemies at once. However, do keep in mind that Emilia is susceptible to Electric Code, which means Scarlet or Anis: Sparkling Summer are her worst matchups possible.
Interception S Interception is Emilia’s playground thanks to her tremendous damage from Skill 2. You can even use the Auto-Battle feature as she doesn’t require precise aiming for the most part.
Tribe Tower S As there hasn’t been any Abnormal Tower yet, Emilia’s usage remains in the Main Tribe Tower, and even then, she’s good enough to power through even the tough floors above Floor 150.

Should You Pull for Emilia?

It is undeniable that the landscape of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is ever-expanding, with many new Nikkes coming out every few weeks. The latest ones came from the last events, Elegg and D: Killer Wife, and now, Emilia’s the one to rise to the occasion. But the question persists: How well will she fare within the game? Is she a must-pull Nikke?

The answer to the question is that she will do just fine in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Yes, she is not the most broken Burst 3 Nikke available, nor is she the meta-breaker that will change how we, as the players, play the game. However, she is fun, her kit is great, and has many positive points, and is a collaboration character, you certainly won’t be able to get her once the event is gone.

You can pull for her, but don’t overdo it as soon enough we will have another Re:Zero character, Rem, to grace Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, potentially being more powerful than Emilia even though she is a Supporter Nikke.

Therefore, we place Emilia as an S-Tier Nikke as our final verdict.
