Ade Combat Overview

Let’s look at Ade’s Nikke Skills to start the guide. As a Supporter Nikke, Ade brings in a fresh ability that will help her teammates survive the battles against the Raptures longer.

To begin, let’s discuss Ade’s Skill 1, Cleaning Time. This Skill contains two effects; the first one grants Ade the ability to cleanse a debuff from her allies after entering a battle, which stacks up to 1 time continuously. This Debuff Immunity can protect against most of Raptures’ debuffs, however, special debuffs such as those from Sentry cannot be cleansed by Ade. As for the second effect, Ade can provide bonus ATK for her allies if her HP falls below 90%.

As for Ade’s Skill 2, Rest Time has a similar effect to her Skill 1, which is to provide Debuff Immunity for all allies. The main difference is that this Skill requires Ade to do 420 normal attacks before the effect takes place. Meanwhile, the second effect of this Skill grants all of Ade’s allies bonus Max HP without healing them, which lasts for 5 seconds and requires Ade to do 120 normal attacks.

In addition to those Skills, Ade’s Burst Skill, Mealtime, will come in handy to protect and buff her allies for 10 seconds, as this Burst gives bonus Max HP without restoring them, as well as giving bonus ATK of up to 10.15% of Ade’s ATK stat.

Overall, Ade’s ability to provide Debuff Immunity is certainly unique and is handy against nasty Raptures that always disrupt your team’s Burst rotation by inflicting a debuff toward a Nikke in your team. However, as of now, there isn’t that much content within Goddess of Victory: NIKKE where bringing in a specialized unit such as Ade is necessary, so her usability rate is incredibly low.

Strengths and Weaknesses

As with every Nikkes in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Ade also has her strengths and weaknesses against different content types within the game, as we have curated in the next part of this guide:

Strengths Weaknesses
Ade can cleanse debuff, which is unique to her as of now, and will come in handy against several Raptures Ade’s nature as a Burst 2 Nikke means that she has serious competitors that are vying for her spot within a team, and unfortunately, she will lose out all the time due to her niche in providing Debuff Immunity, which not many Nikke will need that effect
Since she is a Supporter Nikke, paired with her Skills, Ade does not need high Gear investments, allowing you to focus more on other Nikkes
Ade requires constant healing from a dedicated Healer to restore her HP to its full capacity, or else she will lose her Skill 1’s ATK buff forever
Ade’s Debuff Immunity effect has a high uptime since practically, it’s sustainable throughout the battle as it can be replenished

Skills Priority

Now that you know Ade’s Skills, it’s time to move on to her Skills Priority. As she is a Supporter Nikke, here is the hierarchy of what you should upgrade first (in descending order):

  • Rest Time: This Skill 2 is Ade’s main source of providing Debuff Immunity as well as allowing her to consistently reach HP level below 90%, an important stat to proc Ade’s Skill 1’s ATK buff. Prioritize upgrading Rest Time to level 7~10 depending on your needs.
  • Mealtime: The next Skill to prioritize is her Burst Skill, Mealtime. By utilizing Ade’s Burst Skill mechanic, she can also trigger her Skill 1’s ATK buff comfortably. However, since its scaling is bad, it’s not advisable to upgrade this Skill beyond level 4.
  • Cleaning Time: Skill 1 has the lowest priority among the three simply because it is not that impactful in terms of utility, and its level scaling is abysmal. Do not try to level this Skill up beyond level 4.

Best Equipment Substats

Ade is a Supporter-Class Nikke, so she can only use the corresponding equipment designated for that Class. Since Ade’s abilities do not require that much Gear investments, it is wise to keep the better Overload Gears for other Nikkes that bring more to the table.

If you truly want to give Overload Gears for Ade, then I recommend you to look out for Increase Max Ammunition and Increase Hit Rate sub-stats for Ade’s optimal ATK buff uptime.

Ade’s Potential Team Composition

As for her potential teammates, in all honesty, Ade pretty much can fit most teams, however, those teams do not necessarily need Ade for them to work. However, we will list down a potential team lineup where you can maximize Ade’s unique Debuff Immunity ability in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.

Maid Cleanser Team

For this team, we recommend using Liter, Naga, Marciana, Ade, Red Hood/Scarlet/Alice, and Modernia/Scarlet: Black Shadow.

This team plays in Ade’s strength, which lies in her Debuff Immunity capabilities. However, this team will not be using her as the main Burst 2 Nikke, to maintain the perfect rotation of 20 seconds of Full Burst. With Liter as the resident Burst 1 Nikke, paired with Naga or Marciana as the main Healer of the team, you can still enjoy Ade’s effect without disrupting your core rotation.

As for the Burst 3 Nikkes, you can simply use your top DPS units, either the Red Hood/Modernia combo or the Alice/Scarlet combination, the choice is in your hands.

Ade’s Overall Power Rank

Now that we’ve gone through Ade’s Skills and her Team potential, it’s time to talk about her usability in every content within the game. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, there are many challenges that players must face, such as Interception, Arena, and Tribe Towers.

As stated before, Ade’s strength is rather unique as of now, since no one else has the Debuff Immunity ability like her. However, there is barely any content that requires her presence in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, so her usability is somewhat questionable unless future content that requires a Cleanser like her is released.

And so, to close off this Ade Nikke guide, we will provide a table that includes her usability against all game contents, including Interception and PvP Arena, to provide insight into what types of content she’s strong in and which are the ones you should avoid using her.

Power Rank Table

Type of Content

Usability Rank

(E – SS)

Explanations
Campaign Stages (Early) C If you’re still in the Early Campaign Stages (Chapters 1 – 16), Ade might be useful against several Rapture Bosses like Tailbone or Sunbather, but beyond that, even during these Early Stages, Ade will not see much usage.
Campaign Stages (Late) D Starting in Campaign Stages Chapter 17+, Ade’s usability further dwindles by a margin as her overall kit cannot compete against top-tier Burst 2 Nikkes like Blanc and Naga, even with her Debuff Immunity effect.
PvP Arena D Ade, in essence, can block Blanc’s Burst Skill effect, which is massive as most teams run her nowadays. However, if Jackal is present, then Ade’s Debuff Immunity is rendered useless, as Jackal can smash through Ade’s effect with ease. It’s better to run Mica: Snow Buddy if you try to compose a more reliable PvP team.
Interception D Interception is unfortunately another game content that does not require Ade’s presence, as her inherent ATK buff is far inferior compared to Blanc or Liter.
Tribe Tower C Tetra Tower is the most blessed Tower right now since the developers keep churning out new Tetra Nikkes now and then, and with the release of Ade, you can try to experiment a bit on which team composition suits you best when trying to climb the Tetra Tower.

Should You Pull for Ade?

It is undeniable that the landscape of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is ever-expanding, with many new Nikkes coming out every few weeks. The latest ones were Moran, Privaty: Unkind Maid, and now we have the ever-graceful Ade entering the game. However, when it comes to overall utility, Ade is pretty inferior when compared to most Burst 2 Nikkes. So, it leaves us with a singular question: Is she worth it?

The answer to this question is unfortunately short and precise: No. Ade is in no way a game changer Nikke, nor will she ever shake the hierarchy of which Burst 2 Nikkes reign as the top units in any team composition. Should you pull for her? Never, unless you like her overall design and aesthetic, and you are hopeful that SHIFT UP will release content in the future where Ade’s unique strength can finally come into play.

Therefore, we place Ade as a C-Tier Nikke as our final verdict.
