Mary: Bay Goddess Combat Overview

To start the guide, let’s take a look at Mary: Bay Goddess’ Nikke Skills. As a variant of the original Mary, Mary: Bay Goddess’ Skills are different than her counterpart. For starters, her Skill 1, Seaside Sunshine, provides healing over time up to 6.86% of her Final Max HP to all allies every 1 second for 5 seconds. This skill activates when entering the Full Burst state.

Meanwhile, her Skill 2, Waves Kiss The Feet, will buff all of her fellow Water Code Nikkes by increasing their Damage as strong element by 20.85%, 13.88%, and 8.36% for 3, 5, and 10 seconds respectively. This effect activates when using the Burst Skill, and the previous effects can trigger repeatedly.

And lastly, her Burst Skill, Tranquil Waters, increases all allies’ survivability and strengthens Water code allies’ ATK. When at Full Burst, she can restore all allies’ HP within a certain amount of time, providing a huge boost to the team’s attack and defense.

Overall Mary focuses on healing her teammates based on her Final Max HP and provides a good ATK bonus to her fellow Water Code allies. However, this limits her potential as a solid buffer to other Elemental Codes, making her only viable and potent in Water-based team compositions.

Skills Priority

Now that you know Mary: Bay Goddess Skills, it’s time to move on to her Skills Priority. As she is a Healer/Supporter, here is the hierarchy of what you should upgrade first (in descending order):

  • Tranquil Waters: Her Burst Skill is the best Skill she has, however, Tranquil Waters can only work wonders when Mary: Bay Goddess is paired with other Water Code Nikkes. The additional ATK buff and constant heal are the main reasons why you should prioritize upgrading her Burst Skill.
  • Seaside Sunshine: The next Skill to prioritize is her Skill 1, Seaside Sunshine. This Skill allows Mary: Bay Goddess to continuously heal her teammates during the Full Burst duration. Since her healing rates are considerably high, this could potentially save your team during critical times.
  • Waves Kiss The Feet: Lastly, Skill 2 has the lowest priority among the three due to its limitations to just buffing Water Code Nikkes. While this buff is not necessarily bad, the scope of the buff is heavily limited to just one element, reducing the priority to enhance this Skill.

Best Equipment Substats

Since Mary: Bay Goddess is a Supporter-Class Nikke, she can only use the corresponding equipment designated for that Class. It is not necessary to put your Manufacturer’s Equipment on her as she’s not that demanding in terms of stats. Even Level 0 equipments are enough to make her a potent character on your team.

However,  if you do have excess equipment and wish to place them on Mary: Bay Goddess, I recommend you to look out for Increase Element Damage Dealt and Increase Hit Rate sub-stats if you wish to upgrade her equipment to Overload Tier to add some firepower to her kit.

Mary: Bay Goddess’ Potential Team Composition

As for her potential teammates, Mary: Bay Goddess is a Nikke that can fit into several team lineups since she’s a great healer and buffer. However, since most of her Skills only apply to Water Code Nikkes, her options quickly diminished to mono-Water teams.

Her potential teammates are Viper, Helm, Privaty, and Poli.

Due to her nature as a Burst 1 Nikke and her 20 seconds Burst Skill cooldown, others such as Dorothy, Milk, Ludmilla, and N102 will not be included in this team to prevent the Burst Skill clash.

Mary: Bay Goddess will act as the team’s main Supporter by utilizing her healing and ATK buff abilities. Meanwhile, Poli and Viper will act as the Burst 2 Nikkes for the team, with Poli having priority over Viper thanks to her Shielding and Damage Sharing abilities. Lastly, Privaty and Helm act as the main damage dealers for the team by using their respective Burst Skills.

Best Stages to Use Mary: Bay Goddess

Now that we’ve gone through her Skills and her Team potential, it’s time to talk about her usability in the Boss stages. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, the hardest challenge that players must face are the Special Interception Bosses. As stated before, Mary: Bay Goddess is a solid unit but lacks much usability beyond the Water Code teams.

And so, to close off this Mary: Bay Goddess Nikke guide, we will provide a table that includes her usability against all Interception Bosses + Nihilister, Chapter 20’s Stage Boss, to provide insight about what Bosses she’s strong against and which are the ones you should avoid using her against.

Interception/Stage Bosses

Usability Rank

( E – S)

Explanations
Nihilister A

Nihilister is a Fire-type Boss, so she is weak against Water Code Nikkes, and Mary: Bay Goddess is a solid addition to the lineup since she also provides healing.

Recommended Lineup: Mary: Bay Goddess, Viper, Privaty, Helm, and Liter.

Modernia E Facing Modernia requires top DPS and strong buffs to clear her Interception. Since Mary: Bay Goddess lacks those aspects, she doesn’t fit into any lineups to face Modernia.
Chatterbox B

Chatterbox is the easiest Interception Boss, as he is less demanding compared to other Bosses. As long as your main damage dealers have enough DPS to shred his HP, Mary: Bay Goddess is a solid option to keep your team alive.

Recommended Lineup: Liter, Centi, Modernia, Laplace, and Mary: Bay Goddess.

Blacksmith B

Blacksmith is another Interception Boss that is suitable for Mary: Bay Goddess due to Blacksmith’s aerial bombardment that targets all on-field Nikkes, in which Mary: Bay Goddess’ healing comes in handy to keep your allies safe.

Recommended Lineup: Dorothy/Liter, Centi/Blanc, Modernia, Noir, and Mary: Bay Goddess.

Grave Digger D To successfully complete Grave Digger Interception, you must gather a specific lineup consisting of Shotgun-based Nikkes, so Mary: Bay Goddess is not a top priority to fill the Supporter role in that lineup.
Alteisen E Alteisen’s quick missile and turret barrages must be countered by specific Nikkes such as Noise or Ludmilla. Unfortunately, Mary: Bay Goddess’ healing powers are not enough against those barrages and she does not provide any other buffs to other Code-type Nikkes, making her essentially out of the equation when you’re fighting Alteisen.

And that’s the character guide for Mary: Bay Goddess for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
