The famous Agent 007 has made his way into the Rocket League arena. Well, his car has anyway. Players can now control James Bond’s iconic 1963 Aston Martin DB5 starting July 29th. Unfortunately, 007 doesn’t hang around one place for too long. So if you want this car, you’d better get it while you can. It is only available in the item shop through August 4th for 1100 points.
The Rocket League 007 bundle also includes the Bond car’s signature Silver Birch Paint Finish. Naturally, the Aston Martin DB5 cannot be customized with all item types. However, it does come with a few things that can only be equipped on this car:
- “One-of-a-kind” Engine Audio
- 007’s Aston Martin DB5 Wheels
- A Reel Life Decal
“Q has been hard at work in the lab developing the perfect vehicle for Soccar. The Aston Martin DB5 has been outfitted with rocket boost and an Octane hitbox, and is now ready to go airborne and score goals. 007’s Aston Martin DB5 comes with the signature Silver Birch Paint Finish that resembles the original color of the Aston Martin, one-of-a-kind Engine Audio, 007’s Aston Martin DB5 Wheels, and a Reel Life Decal.”
Other Famous Rocket League Cars
According to the Rocket League website, James Bond will “declassify” more of his cars later this year. While this clearly isn’t the last Rocket League 007 vehicle, no others have been revealed yet. However, the 007 Aston Martin DB5 is not the first well-known vehicle to appear in Rocket League. It joins a number of others that have already entered the arena, such as:
- Jurassic Jeep Wrangler (Jurassic World)
- DeLorean Time Machine (Back to the Future)
- K.I.T.T. (Knight Rider)
- Two variants of the Batmobile (Batman)
