Activision has revealed information that it sold more than $500 million of Destiny on Day One. Just be careful with the word "sold" because it means copies of the game sent to shops. Not to you.
Anyway if the costs for the game were around speculated $500 million then the sales for Bungie are great encouragement. And promise for players that the future is bright and the game will continue to develop. Because right now maxed characters are in the game and even the game is not MMO in its core meaning still the players will desire and need more and more content. Or the player base will decrease dramatically in the coming weeks.
