According to a study by SuperData Research every fifth copy of Destiny was sold digitally. That is much higher percentage than the other big titles last year. The average was around 12% via digital downloads on consoles.
And how many users were playing Destiny? Big number it is. 9.5 million registered users.
We think that even the game is not the best console game (yet) the hype and sales were very positive for the company and we can look forward to the next updates and DLCs.
