Control has turned into an incredibly impressive game since it launched last year. Its mind-bending story and universe have captured player’s minds, and the follow-up expansions have only increased the intrigue that makes it so appealing. As a result, the game is such a joy to play through, so it makes sense that you’d want to go for 100% in achievements on Xbox, or get the platinum trophy on PlayStation 4. It makes even more sense when you consider that Control: Ultimate Edition is on the way for next-gen consoles. If you’re quick, you could collect every Control trophy and achievement now, before you repeat the process on your next-gen machine.

Get Them Now, Then on Next-Gen Consoles, Too
At the time this trophy list is being written, 38.94% of all players have the platinum in Control. That makes it seem fairly easy to actually get this, which will be a crowning achievement in your PlayStation trophy cabinet. No trophy stands out as being particularly hard. You collect collectibles as part of the game’s story, it’s largely how you come to understand the world. Furthermore, the gameplay is so addictive, that you’ll end up completing all the Side Missions and Bureau Alters without even thinking about it.
This is definitely a good game to start with if you’re looking to build up your trophy collection. I’d also say that it’s one of the easier platinums you can get right now. As a result, the beauty of this game coming to PlayStation 5 is that the trophy data might transfer over, meaning you’ll have a platinum just by downloading the game to your new system. Provided you’re playing Control: Ultimate Edition.
