Starting on the 16th as well, and ending January 22nd, owners of the base game will be able to sample some of the content from the They Shall Not Pass and In the Name of the Tsar expansions as part of the Turning Tides DLC's Gallipoli Trial. Moreover, the event will grant access to some of the new content coming in Turning Tides.
Some of the Turning Tides DLC content launched towards the end of last year, but the rest is coming in January and includes: the Zeebrugge and Heligoland Bight maps, British Empire Royal Marines faction, and C-Class Airship vehicle.

The game's publisher, EA, and developer, DICE, say that details on Apocalypse, the next expansion for the popular FPS, is 'imminent'. DICE say that the upcoming DLC, Apocalypse, will include "the most infamous battles of WWI" (so, possibly the Somme) and introduces the "brutal tools and unique weapons born out of desperation and deadlock." The expansion is expected to come out in Early 2018.
