Following today’s reveal of Call of Duty: World War II, Activision has announced via press release that the title will indeed include a Nazi Zombies mode.
Additionally, more details about the game's story were shared as well. Set entirely in the European theater, from D-Day through to Belgium and all the way into Germany, it follows Private “Red” Daniels, a young recruit that landed on the beaches of Normandy, accompanied by his best friend, Robert Zussman.
Activision promises that Call of Duty: World War II will portrays diverse characters from other nationalities, including British intelligence officer Crowley and French resistance leader Russeau.
Details on multiplayer will be entirely revealed at E3, though a new “War” mode, which pivots Axis and Allies powers competing against each other in an objective-based narrative-driven PvP mode, was mentioned. Additionally, a "Divisions" feature will allow players to enlist in a division and progress through its ranks.
