Last month, Call of Duty: WWII, the latest entry in the annual shooter franchise, was leaked, pushing Activision to officially announce the new title this past week. Along with confirming that the series will go back to its World War II roots (which the name obviously points out), Activision and Sledgehammer Games will have an official reveal on more of the game during a live stream on April 26 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET/6 PM BST.
Before the game will be officially revealed, however, there was a leaked advertisement that has revealed some details on what to expect in Call of Duty: WWII. As usual, there will be a focus on competitive multiplayer, with "fast-paced combat" and "new ways to interact and socialize." The campaign is getting an unexpected amount of focus, with a fully-fledged single-player campaign, as well as a "standalone" co-operative story mode.
Call of Duty: WWII is set to release on November 3rd, 2017, and players who pre-order will receive "private beta" access. For more information, tune into Activision's live stream on April 26.
