The Call of Duty: WWII Private Multiplayer Beta begins on August 25th for PS4 and September 1st for Xbox One. A trailer has been released to showcase the action and maps you'll be playing on. WWII makes the return to boots on the ground combat and from the looks of the Multiplayer trailer, it looks insanely gritty and fun to play.
The trailer shows a lot of chaos and pure old school Call of Duty goodness. However one of the most notable parts of the trailer would be the airstrikes. Which I assume are part of the score streaks system or maybe part of the new War mode. I'm hoping that the game will remain balanced with all the chaos that is shown in the trailer and I have faith in Sledgehammer Games to do so. The MP40 makes its appearance in the trailer, as well as the flamethrower and a couple other weapons. It'll be interesting to see what weapon ends up being the most popular during the beta and how many guns will be available at launch.
As much as Call of Duty changes over the years, I still remain hopeful for the future of the franchise. I'm really excited to finally get my hands on WWII and make the jump back to new boots on the ground games. What are your thoughts? Will you be playing the beta on August 25th?
