There’s a new patch/update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare meant to bring some requested changes and fix issues. However, even with the new patch, two issues have shown to not be entirely fixed. Aside from supposedly fixing issues, the patch also introduces new features including the removal of battle chatter from one-life modes. Also, Claymores can now be disabled for three seconds when stunned. On a smaller note, there are five new playlist updates and are as follows: NVG (TDM only), Ground War, Gunfight, Kill Confirmed, FFA
The first issue noted with the patch is the volume of footsteps. This has been one that many players have noted on, especially in regards to the camping problem. Apparently, the latest patch was meant to fix it but, players have reported that the change in volume is rather subtle. It didn’t help that YouTuber TheXclusiveAce noted the problem in a video.
Then there is the second problem. Supposedly, the patch would prevent players from earning game-ending nukes when players get kills in APCs in Ground War. Players soon found that it did not, in fact, prevent anything. So far the only a few things have been fixed in this patch including a bug that caused charms to mess with weapons’ hip-fire accuracy. Then there is also the bug where Tac Inserts could cause players to spawn out of bounds fixed. Along with it is the gold camo not unlocking on the .357 fixed. Other than this, crashes still occur on PC and Xbox One. What’s more, the PC’s stuttering cutscenes in single-player, as well as the often broken lobby menu (black screen) remain the same.
With the previous patches, it had Cyber Attack in the quick play filter and the 10v10 TDM and 10v010 Dom having a Quick Play filter.
