The Warlock has one of the largest new Unique item pools in Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, with gear built around Soul Shards, Sigils, Archfiend skills, Demonform, Abyss damage, summons, and fire-based setups.
These Uniques are important because many Warlock builds depend on one or two specific items before they feel complete, especially if you are target-farming Lair Bosses in Season 13.

2. How to Farm Warlock Uniques
The best way to farm Warlock Uniques is through Lair Bosses and boss-specific loot tables. Boss Trophies can also be used at the Horadric Cube to help target items from a specific boss table.
- Reach the endgame and unlock Lair Boss farming.
- Choose the boss that drops the Warlock Unique you want.
- Farm the required Lair Key or boss entry material.
- Defeat the boss and open the reward hoard.
- Repeat the same boss until the Unique drops.
- Use the Horadric Cube and Boss Trophies when available to target a boss loot table more efficiently.
3. Best Bosses to Farm for Warlock Uniques
Warlock Uniques are spread across several bosses, including Varshan, Grigoire, Lord Zir, Astaroth, Bartuc, The Butcher, The Beast in the Ice, Urivar, Duriel, and Andariel.
Start with the boss that drops your build-defining Unique, then stay on that loot table until it drops. If one boss has several pieces for your build, prioritize that source before spending materials on random farming.
| Boss / Source | Warlock Uniques to Watch For |
|---|---|
| Varshan | Ae’grom’s Schism, Seal of the Ophanim, Thrice-Woven Nightmare |
| Grigoire | Infernal Homunculus, Hands of the Worldbreaker, Sire of Sin |
| Lord Zir | Elegy, Fleshwrit Carapace, Dirge of Odium, Morlu Fleshward |
| Astaroth | Footfalls of the Waning World, Bindings of Attrition, Hecaton Chasm, Litany of Sable |
| Bartuc / Infernal Hordes | Eye of Baal, Sashes of the Wretched, The Hemat Stone, Hand of Apotheosis |
| The Butcher | Nails of the Gore-Crowned, Blood-Mad Idol, other Butcher-table Warlock pieces |
| Urivar | Cowl of Malefic Torment, The Blade of Sight Aflame, Infernal Homunculus |
| Andariel | Night Terror, Scepter of the Three, Anathema of the Primes, Sire of Sin, The Eightfold Idol |
| Duriel | Rictus of Terror, Scourge of Duriel, Gauntlets of Sheol |
| The Beast in the Ice | Warlock boots / pants / ring-table pieces |
4. Warlock Unique Weapons
Warlock Unique weapons are worth farming when their effect matches your main damage tag, such as demon, Ultimate, Shadow/Dread Claws, or fire setups. Skip weapons that do not support the skill your build is built around.
| Unique Weapon | Slot | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Anathema of the Primes | 1H Sword | Demon / Prime-themed builds |
| Dirge of Odium | 2H Axe | Heavy damage setups |
| Elegy | 1H Sword | General Warlock weapon damage |
| Litany of Sable | Dagger | Shadow / Dread Claws builds |
| Scepter of the Three | 2H Mace | Ultimate / demon builds |
| Scourge of Duriel | Flail | Duriel-themed weapon setup |
| The Blade of Sight Aflame | 2H Sword | Fire / sight-themed setup |
5. Warlock Unique Armor
Warlock armor Uniques often define a build more clearly than weapons, especially when they affect summons, Demonform, Archfiend skills, Sigils, or survival mechanics. Check your required armor pieces early so you do not spend boss materials farming a weapon before your core setup is online.
| Unique Armor | Slot | Effect / Build Use |
|---|---|---|
| Ae’grom’s Schism | Chest Armor | Increases Ae’grom and its summons’ damage, summons Ae’grom’s other half, and gives a second charge of Command Ae’grom. |
| Bindings of Attrition | Pants | Attrition / defensive setup. |
| Bridle of Tor’Baalos | Boots | Movement or demon-themed setup. |
| Cowl of Malefic Torment | Helm | Malefic / torment-focused setup. |
| Fleshwrit Carapace | Chest Armor | Boosts Sigil Skills, making it one of the key items for Sigil-based Warlock builds. |
| Footfalls of the Waning World | Boots | Movement / utility item. |
| Gauntlets of Sheol | Gloves | Summoning Fiend of Abaddon sacrifices other Greater Demon summons, deals Fiend of Abaddon’s damage around them, and increases his damage per demon killed. |
| Hand of Apotheosis | Gloves | Skill-enhancing glove option. |
| Hands of the Worldbreaker | Gloves | Heavy-damage glove option listed in Lord Zir and Grigoire tables. |
| Infernal Homunculus | Focus | Boosts Archfiend Skills and grants their Lesser Demon side upgrades for free with longer duration. |
| Lurid Pact | Pants | Pact / survival setup. |
| Nails of the Gore-Crowned | Helm | Boosts Hellion Sting and makes it automatically strike enemies when you attack in Demonform. |
| Rictus of Terror | Helm | Laalish / Terror Realm setup; listed as a Duriel-targeted Warlock helm in current Warlock Unique sources. |
| Sashes of the Wretched | Pants | Summons Tortured Wretch when Life drops below 55%; enemies taunted by Tortured Wretch take increased damage from you. |
| Thrice-Woven Nightmare | Gloves | Nightmare / Terror Swarm-style setup. |

7. Best Farming Tips for Warlock Uniques
Warlock has a large Unique pool, so farming randomly is inefficient. Pick one build direction first, then target the boss that drops the item you need.
- Farm by build, not by slot: Decide whether you are playing Soul Shards, Archfiend, Sigils, Demonform, Abyss, or summons before farming.
- Use boss loot tables: Target-farming bosses is faster than waiting for random world drops.
- Use Belial later: Belial is the top boss of the lair boss ladder and can choose other boss loot tables and has strong Ancestral / Mythic farming value, but it is harder than standard Lair Bosses.
- Check item slot conflicts: Some builds want multiple Uniques in the same slot, especially rings, helms, gloves, and chest armor.
- Do not equip every Unique automatically: A Legendary Aspect can still be better if the Unique does not support your main skill.
