Gold

Albion’s economy runs on two currencies: Silver and Gold. Both are essential, but they serve different purposes.

  • Silver: The main in-game currency. Earned from killing mobs, farming dungeons, selling goods, and trading. Used for repairs, market purchases, crafting fees, and island upkeep.
  • Gold: The premium currency. Can be bought with real money or traded with other players for silver. Primarily used to buy Premium status, which provides massive progression benefits.

Premium status is one of the most powerful advantages in Albion. It grants:

  • +50% fame gain from all activities
  • +50% resource yield when gathering
  • Daily Learning Points to speed up progression on the Destiny Board
  • Access to private islands for farming and housing

Unlike gear, both Silver and Gold are never lost on death. This makes them safe stores of value. Many players trade between the two depending on market prices, creating opportunities for economic strategies such as buying Gold when it’s cheap and selling when it rises.
