Ore Mining
Gathering is one of the most fundamental systems in Albion Online. Every item in the game—gear, weapons, consumables—starts with raw resources harvested by players. If you want to supply the economy or make steady silver, gathering is one of the best choices.
Each resource type has its own tool line on the Destiny Board:
-
-
- Wood → Axe
- Stone → Stone Hammer
- Ore → Pickaxe
- Fiber → Sickle
- Hide → Skinning Knife
You can gather one tier higher than the tool you currently have. For example, a Tier 3 axe lets you cut Tier 4 trees.
17.1 Tips for Efficient Gathering
-
-
- Progress each gathering line by farming in zones that match your tool tier.
- Keep and use LP only for gathering.
- Equip gathering gear (e.g., Miner’s Garb, Skinner Cap) to increase yield and reduce weight.
- Use mounts like Oxen or Boars for carrying capacity.
- Gather in black zones for the best multipliers, but expect gankers.
High-tier gathering (T6–T8) can generate millions of silver per hour in black zones, but reaching this point requires dedication to leveling your gathering skills.
