Resident Evil 4: Viper Hunter Request Guide (Snakes Locations)

This guide will show you where to find the 3 snakes required for the Viper Hunter request in Resident Evil 4 Remake. These can be used to restore your health, but you want to avoid using them for that if you want to complete this secondary mission. Read below for more information about it.

Resident Evil 4 Viper Hunter Request Guide (Snakes Locations). There are several requests to complete in the newest version of Resident Evil 4. These secondary missions allow you to get spinels, which can be traded to get supplies from the merchant. Viper Hunter is one of the many requests in the game. This time, you have to deal with 3 vipers to sell them to the merchant. Below you will find a small guide on how to find 3 snakes (or vipers, however you want to call them) to sell them and complete this request in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The first thing you need to do to activate this mission is to find the corresponding request sheet. This particular sheet can be found on the second merchant location of the game, almost right in front of him. In case you have any doubts, below you have a screenshot of the exact location on the map.

The Viper Hunter request sheet is located near the second merchant, right outside of the town hall - Resident Evil 4 Snakes

Once you grab it, all you have to do is find the 3 snakes and sell them to the merchant. It doesn’t matter if you sell them progressively or all 3 at once. As long as you sell them while having the quest activated, it will still count.

This viper can be actually found a little bit sooner than the request sheet itself. Right after using the key to open the village door that leads to the town hall, look left to find a box. Break it and then quickly use your knife to kill the viper. They bite, so watch out! Make sure to grab it after killing it.

The second viper is a little bit ahead. Once you pass the church and reach the area that leads to the quarry (where you fight a few enemies that throw molotov cocktails at you), you will find a small shed. Inside this shed, you can find another small box with a viper inside it. Kill it and also grab it before continuing.

The last viper can be found inside the fish farm area. There are several enemies to deal with here, so make sure to do so before trying to find the viper. As soon as you’re done with them, go to the location shown in the screenshot below and watch your feet. A snake should be wandering around this small area. As a matter of fact, there are several snakes wandering around the fish farm area. Most of them are swimming around, so pay attention whenever you get into the water in case you’re missing any vipers. In any case, shoot or knife the last viper and grab it to proceed to the last step of the request.

Once you get all 3 snakes, go to the merchant whenever you want and sell them. As soon as you do so, the request will have been completed and you will get your spinels in return.

Those were all the 3 snakes locations for the Viper Hunter request. Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now on Steam, PS4 & PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. There is also a free demo that you can try right now and find a few secrets lurking in it.
