Monster Hunter Stories 2’s imminent release is pronouncing some interesting crossover contents for Monster Hunter Rise players, including update 3.1.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is already set for international launch early next month. This anticipation is extra special as it will see interaction with Monster Hunter Rise. Specifically, involving crossover contents that are especially given to will-be owners of both titles.
There will be three “collabs” in total, but here are the following are the contents for the first. First is a Palico outfit based on MHS2’s Tsukino. Getting this costume requires players finishing an event quest and getting it as a reward. Secondly, and lastly, is the full costume that looks after the protagonist’s in MHS2, dubbed as the “Rider” hunter layered armor set. Rise players can get this item by simply booting their game with an existing MHS2 data. This means playing the upcoming title beforehand.
Aside from the collaboration between two titles, another thing players will look forward to is the upcoming 3.1 update. In particular, for its contents involving new Event Quests, Shadow Shades and Black Leather Legs, Play Possum gesture, and Festival Set stickers. In addition, there will also be a slew of paid DLCs that players can fork their cash into for further play experience.
