E3 is just around the corner and we will get to see new footage from many new and upcoming games including Mafia 3. Hangar 13 has talked about the city in the game before, saying that it has been built on the foundations of New Orleans from the 1960s, but they are starting to reveal more details.
There has been a new trailer released that shows how developers have brought the city in the game to life. The city is New Bordeaux, and has a lot more depth and realism than the previous instalment.
In the trailer, the developers say that in the reimagination of New Orleans, they have taken all the best parts and put them in one place. From what we have seen so far the game looks great and has some interesting locations and design choices.
There is going to be something for everyone in the game whether you like open areas, closed end streets, cities or outskirts of the city. This sounds like there will be segments that take place outside and maybe inside, in more tight quarter combat scenarios and moments.
This is a game that’s worth keeping an eye on and hopefully we get to see more at E3 this year. The game is set to release on October 7th this year.
