Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About time will release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S, and the Nintendo Switch on March 12th. A PC version via Battle.net will be available later this year.
The updated version takes advantage of the new hardware in many ways the previous-gen version in October 2020 could not. On the PlayStation 5, Crash 4 will support 3D audio and adaptive triggers. It will run at 4K/60FPS and include faster loads times.
On the other side, the Xbox Series X version will also run at 4K/60FPS, with the Xbox Series S upscaling to 4K.
Players who have already purchased Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on PS4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade to the next-generation version. Expect for Japan, saved data will also crossover, allowing your Crash adventure to continue.
For those who are not entitled to the free upgrade, Crash 4 is available for $60/£55 on PS5 and Xbox Series, and the Switch version for $40/£35.
Pre-orders will be open soon.
