
There are 8 player houses across Japan, and most of them are tied to Discover Japan Stamp progression before you can buy them. The first one, Mei’s House, is free and becomes available through early progression. The rest require Credits, VIP access, or specific Stamp tiers.
1. How Player Houses Work in Forza Horizon 6
Player Houses are purchasable properties across the Japan map. Each one gives you a garage space and a passive perk after you own it. Some houses are unlocked early, while later properties require Discover Japan Stamp progression before they can be purchased.
- Progress through the early game until houses become available.
- Open the map and look for Player House icons.
- Check the required Stamp level and Credit price.
- Drive to the house location on the map.
- Buy the property if you meet the requirement.
- Use the perk immediately after purchase.

2.1. Mei’s House
Mei’s House is your first player estate in Forza Horizon 6. It is located in southern Ohtani, northeast of Tokyo City, along the main road heading north from Tokyo toward the Horizon Festival.
Because it is free and includes the Wheeler Dealer perk, claim it as soon as it becomes available if you want access to Autoshow car trading.

2.2. Yashiki House
Yashiki House is the cheapest paid property in Forza Horizon 6. It is located in the mountains west of Hokubu and is the estate you buy if you want access to Estate building.

2.3. Tokyo House
Tokyo House is the premium city property in Tokyo City. It is expensive if bought with Credits, but players with VIP can claim it for free. The main reason to get Tokyo House is the Daily Wheelspin perk.
It gives you a free Wheelspin each day you attend Horizon Japan, which makes it one of the strongest long-term estates.

2.4. Minka House
Minka House is an early paid estate in Ito and is useful if you enjoy Stunt Party events. Minka House is found on the east side of Ito, along the coast. Its Credit Stunts perk gives extra Credits from Horizon Stunt Party events, so buy it early if you regularly play stunt-focused content.

3. Best Tips Before Buying Every House
Player Houses can help progression, but buying them in the wrong order can drain your Credits early. Focus on useful perks first, then come back for collection completion.
- Buy the Estate / Yashiki House first because it is cheap and unlocks Estate building.
- Buy Hakusan Mountain Lodge early if you want a broad Credit bonus.
- Get Minka House if you play Horizon Stunt Party events often.
- Get Fuji Unkai House before grinding Horizon Jobs.
- Buy Soko 78 before spending heavily at the Autoshow.
- Skip the Tokyo House until later unless you have VIP or want Daily Wheelspins immediately.
