1.1. Planning Checklist
Use this quick checklist before you start playing to avoid any confusion and plan the most efficient route.
- Pick one main platform for your completion run.
- Play on any difficulty, since no achievement requires a higher setting.
- Use Wristband progress as your main route through events.
- Collect Stamps and smash Regional Mascots as you explore to reduce cleanup later.
- Save the full map reveal and all 200 Regional Mascots for post-story cleanup if needed.
If you own the game on both Xbox and Steam, choose one platform for your main playthrough.
2. Key Progression Systems
The 57 achievements revolve around four main systems. Understanding what each system does helps you plan an efficient route through Japan instead of following a flat checklist.
2.1. Wristbands
Wristbands are your festival rank. You earn them by completing events, PR Stunts, and challenges across Japan. There are seven colored tiers that start with Yellow and end with Gold. The final Gold Wristband gives you the title of Horizon Legend and unlocks the hardest events.
2.2. Collection Journal and Stamps
The Collection Journal is your personal scrapbook. You collect colored Stamps by discovering cars, completing stories, exploring landmarks, and hitting milestones. Filling pages and reaching stamp totals unlock multiple achievements and rewards, including cars, cosmetics, and player houses with garages.
2.3. Regional Mascots
Regional Mascots are giant food-themed sculptures scattered across Japan. There are exactly 200 of them. You earn achievements for smashing your first Regional Mascot and for clearing the full set of 200.
2.4. Garage Building
Garage building is tied to car collection and journal progress. You expand your collection through purchases, barn finds, and rewards. Several achievements track ownership milestones and garage customization as you unlock new player houses.
3. All 57 Achievements in Forza Horizon 6
The full achievement list covers every major part of the game, from your first race to revealing the entire map of Japan. The achievements are grouped into clear categories so you can plan your playthrough efficiently.
3.1. Achievement Categories by Progression System
Use these categories to see which achievement goals stack during normal progression and which ones are better saved for cleanup:
- Festival and Wristband Progression: Advance through all seven colored Wristbands and complete major story and event chains.
- Collection Journal Stamp Milestones: Collect colored Stamps and reach specific journal totals and page completions.
- Map Discovery and Exploration: Reveal the full map of Japan, find hidden areas, and complete long-distance travel tasks.
- Vehicle Collection and Garage Milestones: Reach ownership milestones, collect rare vehicles, and customize your garage and player houses.
- Regional Mascot Challenges: Locate and smash all 200 Regional Mascots across Japan.
- Mastery and Miscellaneous: Photo mode achievements, drifting records, Horizon Play levels, and overall completion tasks.
