Forza Horizon 6 has 9 Treasure Cars hidden across Japan. These work differently from Barn Finds because you do not need to wait for restoration after finding them. Once you locate a Treasure Car, it is added to your garage after a quick cutscene, making them some of the easiest free cars to claim while exploring the map.
Each region has one Treasure Car, and collecting all 9 unlocks the Treasure Hunter trophy. Collecting all cars also unlocks the Lost and Found badge.
1. How Treasure Cars Work in Forza Horizon 6
Treasure Cars are hidden vehicles placed across the Forza Horizon 6 map. Treasure Cars can be collected without raising your Discover Japan level first, unlike Barn Finds.
There is one car per region, giving you 9 total cars to find. Once you reach the correct spot, the game gives you the car immediately after the discovery sequence.

3. Best Tips to Find Treasure Cars Faster
Treasure Cars are easier to find when you search by region and landmark instead of driving around the entire map. Each clue points toward a clear feature, such as a bridge, wind turbine, store, golf course, railway bridge, waterfall, or mountain lodge.
- Check one region at a time and use the table above before searching.
- Use landmark clues first: bridges, stores, wind turbines, golf courses, railways, waterfalls, and lodges.
- Zoom in on the map for small dirt tracks, coastal paths, village roads, and bridge areas.
- Use Drone Mode if you are close to the landmark but cannot see the car.
- Claim Treasure Cars before nearby races or Barn Finds so you do not need to return to the same area later.
- Spend one Skill Point on each Treasure Car after collecting it for quick XP, as each car gives 10,000 XP when you spend a single Skill Point on it.
