The Talos 1 space station in Prey has numerous locked safes that include handy supplies and other goodies. Most of those safes have randomly generated keycodes that change for every playthrough. So, I can’t tell you what the codes for those safes are. However, there are also five safes in Prey with non-random keycodes that are always the same. These are the five safe codes in Prey that never change.

The Security Safe
The security safe is in the Security Station at the location shown directly below. To get there, walk through the Security door on level one of Talos 1 Lobby. Although the Security Station is behind a locked door, you can bypass that entrance by climbing onto the yellow pipe that leads into the room.
Then you can enter the 0526 code to open the security safe. This safe includes a fabrication plan for shotgun shells, Recycle Charge, Nullwave Transmitter, and EMP Charge. The shells plan will enable you to fabricate bullets for the shotgun on the table beside the safe.
Dr. Thorstein’s Safe
The office of Dr. Thorstein includes a safe. You can reach that safe by heading to Dr. Thorstein’s office in Hardware Labs. The lower-level entrance to that office is a keycode door. However, you bypass that locked door entrance by firing some gloo at the walls with the Gloo Gun and climbing up to level one of Hardware Labs. Then enter Dr. Thorstein’s Office from level one.
Entering 9954 will crack open Dr. Thorstein’s safe. Then you can pick up two Psi Hypos, several 9-mm bullets, and one Recycle Charge inside the safe.
Dr. DeVries’ Safe
Dr. DeVries’ safe is inside the office within the Trauma Center on level two of Talos 1 Lobby. To enter that office, you’ll need the keycard for its door. You can find that keycard on the corpse of Dr. DeVries (which is by the lift in the Arboretum area).
Input the code 7324 to open Dr. Devies’ safe. There you’ll find three Neuromods with which to upgrade Morgan’s abilities. Plus, you can pick up a couple of Suit Repair Kits and Psi Hypo.
The Simulation Debriefing Safe
This safe is within the Simulation Lab where you start the game. To find it, go to level one of the Neuromod Division. Then walk into the small Simulation Debriefing room with a chair in it shown on the map directly below.
To get inside this safe, input the code 5150. There you’ll find a plan for the fabrication of Psi Hypo. There are also three Psi Hypos, x600 Exotic Material, and a Field Shielding chipset to collect from that safe.
Dr. Calvino’s Safe
Dr. Calvino’s safe is a tricky one to find. First, you must pick up Dr. Calvino’s keycard to enter his cabin. To do so, go to Calvino’s workshop on level one of Hardware Labs. Pick up Dr. Calvino’s Tumbler on a tray in his workshop and then place it on the hotplate on the desk to access a secret cupboard. That cupboard includes Lorenzo’s keycard and a few Neuromods.
Then go to Dr. Calvino’s cabin on level one of Crew Quarters, shown on the map below. After entering his cabin, you’ll see a large screen on the wall. Turning off the screen from the cabin’s computer will reveal a safe hidden behind it. Input the code 0523 to open the safe behind the screen and pick up the three Neuromods, a Broken Cooler Fan, and an EMP Charge inside it.
Entering those five safe codes in Prey will enable you to pick up six Neuromods and two useful fabrication plans. The additional weapon, Psi, and material supplies included in the safes will also be useful. Alas, you must find the randomly generated safe keycodes yourself or get hacking to open all the other safes on Talos 1.
