The Everything secret world seed, also known as the Zenith secret seed, is a new feature of the Terraria 1.4.4 Labor of Love update. The Zenith seed is a combination of all secret world seeds in the game. It takes some of the main features of all seeds and places them into a single world.
You can just imagine how chaotic this may be, but it’s a very fun seed to play on and the most challenging one in the game. So if you’re looking to find out everything this seed’s features, take a look at this article where we’re going to cover everything you should know about the Everything/Zenith secret world seed!
How To Play The Zenith Secret Seed
There isn’t much you need to do in order to play this Terraria secret world seed. The process of importing it is quite simple, and it will take a minimum amount of effort.
But if you’re still unsure of what to do, I suggest you follow this step-by-step guide:
- Go to Single Player
- Choose the character you want to play with
- Go create a new world
- In the seed field, enter “getfixedboi”
- Create new world
Even though the seed isn’t exactly called neither Zenith nor Everything seed, you must type getfixedboi to make the seed work. This name has an interesting origin which we covered further down the article.
Player Features
The Zenith secret seed carries on some player changes from The Constant secret world seed, and unfortunately, those are the new hunger mechanic and the darkness system.
Hunger Mechanic
If you don’t know what the hunger mechanic is, it’s a mechanic that has been taken out of Don’t Starve – the game that Terraria had a crossover within 1.4.3, resulting in The Constant secret seed and many more references.
The way it functions is quite simple but really annoying. When you spawn in the world, you will get the Peckish effect, which will last 5 minutes until you eat some food. Then as you don’t eat anything, the effect is going to get worse and worse with so many debuffs that it’ll eventually lead the player to death.
In order to not die, you will have to find and eat food often to reset the debuff. That itself is really hard, but the good thing is that from Terraria 1.4.4, you can also eat regular mushrooms to negate this effect, which you couldn’t before this update.
Darkness System
The darkness system is an even worse feature.
If the player resides in complete darkness for more than 4 seconds, he will start to take large amounts of damage – 250 per second. But, before the 1.4.4 update, this used to be much less difficult, as the time you could spend in the darkness was whole 8 seconds, and the damage was 50 instead of 250 per second.
Just make sure to have torches or any other light source time with you!
World Changes
There are also a lot of world changes that have been incorporated from other secret world seeds in Terraria. Some of them are just horrifying, while others are fun and interesting, but here I’m going to list the only important ones.
Biome Changes
Instead of having one evil biome, there are now two. So you get to play against crimson and corruption in the same world. That itself is such a cool thing, as you will now have access to ichor and cursed flame weapons at the same time.
The entrance to the skeleton dungeon will no longer spawn on the surface, but it will be under a living tree. Also, all glowing mushroom biomes will be colored with various colors, as that’s also one of the newest features of Terraria 1.4.4.
Spawn Conditions
The most important thing about this seed is that your spawn point will be set deep down below in the Underground biome. It takes the same concept from the Remix world seed, meaning you will spawn on ash grass surrounded by ash trees with little to no lava on spawn.
Once you spawn, Andrew the Tax Collector, Yorai the Princess, the Party Girl, Whitney the Steampunker, and Slimestar the Diva Town Slime will spawn with you as well. They will immediately throw a party and die right when it ends at the beginning of the first night.
Trap Frenzy
The most annoying seed about this world seed is that almost all traps from the No Traps secret world seed have also been transferred to this one. Meaning that you will most likely encounter secret new traps like the Life Crystal Boulder. Plus, the tombstones act as boulders now, which is horrifying!
Other Changes
Hearts and stars can spawn as their seasonal Halloween and Christmas variants! Pots, when broken, will drop stars which will not disappear during the day.
The underground cabins are now painted in rainbow colors, and you can find seed-specific items in some of the chests – Moon Lord legs and Red Potion, for example.
Trees and pots can drop lit bombs, and water pools are replaced with lava. Unfortunately, the surface has incredibly low gravity, which will kill you if you try to exit the top of the map.
The world icon of the Zenith/Everything seed is a glitchy turned upside-down Terraria tree.
Name Origin
The reason why this secret world seed is called “getfixedboi” is because of the hate email that Re-Logic has discovered, headlined “Bad *** Game ***.” You can see how it looks in the tweet below posted by one of the Terraria’s developers, so you’ll understand better how they got the idea.
Our team finds inspiration in many ways. Perhaps a clever fan suggestion, or a fun idea from another game – but sometimes, we delve deep into the fan mailbag to discover true poetry. This is one such letter – and thus the name for the magnum opus of Terraria World Seeds was born! pic.twitter.com/XdkPJWQaBi
