Very Light Characters

Very light characters are the lightest and have the best stats in acceleration, handling, and traction. Although they do not have the fastest top speed, they can reach their top speed faster than any other class. Their handling is especially helpful when racing in 150cc and up. Very light characters are also great for drifting and getting those mini turbos.

Light Characters

Lightweight characters also excel in acceleration, handling, and traction. However, they are slightly heavier and have a faster top speed. Again their handling and miniturbos are perfect for 150cc and up for their easy controls. The acceleration is also great for getting back up to the stop speed after being hit or falling off a track.
