The 3-month wait is over and the highly anticipated 4th Wave of the Mario Kart 8 DLC is set to be released. Drift back into the DLC pack with 8 new courses to try with Birdo also returning as a new playable character. Nintendo announced the new courses would come from Mario Kart Tour including Amsterdam Drift, Bangkok Rush and Singapore Speedway. Old classics are set to return with Riverside Park from the Gameboy Advance, DK Summit from the Nintendo Wii, Mario Circuit from the Nintendo DS and Waluigi Stadium from the Nintendo GameCube. Yoshi’s Island is set to be an all-new course in the 4th DLC Wave.
The 8 new courses will be split into two Grand Prix. The new tracks are:
Fruit Cup
- Amsterdam Drift (Tour)
- Riverside Park (GBA)
- DK Summit (Wii)
- Yoshi’s Island
Boomerang Cup
- Bangkok Rush (Tour)
- Mario Circuit (DS)
- Waluigi Stadium (GCN)
- Singapore Speedway (Tour)
With 48 more courses to be released in the DLC pack, the 4th Wave of new content will be available for players on the 9th of March.
