Abandon Contract – Remove Quest From Journal | Skull and Bones Guide

Activate "Abandon Contract" to cancel and remove quest from journal. If player finds themselves stuck in a quest, in need to substantially level-up weapons and armor before progressing, or if they just plain don't want the contract taking up space.

Activating “Abandon Contract” does precisely as its namesake. Skull and Bones allows only a limited number of quests to backlog in the player’s Journal at a time. If the player comes across a lucrative quest that they can’t accept because their quests are maxed-out can prove to be quite inconvenient. This guide acts as a walkthrough on how to cancel/remove a quest from the Journal in Skull and Bones.

First, Open your “JOURNAL” – Player must open the Journal and scroll down to Highlight the Quest to be cancelled. Select “MORE”.

First highlight contract you wish to cancel then select “MORE”

Second, Press and Hold “ABANDON CONTRACT” to cancel the contract and remove the quest from your journal. Be sure the highlighted quest the quest you wish to cancel.

After selecting ‘More’, Press and Hold “Abandon Contract” to cancel and remove from your Journal.

Worry not if this is a contract you would later like to revisit. Either for the sake of the story or you have performed an unbecoming cost/benefit analysis. Removing a quest from your journal will indeed cancel the contract, though it will certainly regenerate from its source after a short period. It is possible to cancel a quest that is currently still in progress. Meaning you have partially achieved the objective or multiple objectives of the assignment, of course. The player will not be penalized for cancelling a quest. In other words, the rewards will be available to be reaped when the player is ready.

Skull and Bones, only allows a limited number of contracts to sit in the players backlog within the Journal at one time. Considering that Skull and Bones is 100% players’ choice, being able to cancel contracts only allows for more freedom. One thing that must be mentioned, all in all. There is no way to cancel Main Contracts. John Scurlock’s assignments can not be avoided for example.
