Studio Wildcard have released the update notes and a video spotlight for the recent v256 patch for ARK: Survival Evolved. You can view the video spotlight below:
Patch 256: Equus, Leedsichthys, Ichthyornis, Iguanodon, Underwater Bases, & More!
Here is a full list of new content added in the patch:
- Mechanic: Aquatic & Amphibious Creature Breeding
- New Dinos:
- Equus – A large steed
- Leedsichthys – The largest fish in the waters around the island
- Ichthyornis – Considered as a plain old normal seagul
- Iguanodon – A large herbivorous dinosaur that bears a strong resemblance to the Parasaurolophus
- Structures & Mechanic: Tek Underwater Bases
- TEK Items: TEK Teleporter, TEK Mosa Saddle, TEK Power Generator
- Total Inventory Menu redesign (other UI's coming soon!)
- 1 New Hairstyle and 1 New Facial Hairstyle (male and female variants). Growable ponytails with full physics and mutton chops!
- 30+ Explorer Notes
- New Weapon: The Lasso
