Atlantis is an ancient Isu city the Eagle Bearer (Alexios or Kassandra) learns about after finding Pythagoras in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Finding Pythagoras on the “Family’s Legacy” quest unlocks the Gateway to Atlantis questline. To complete that questline, the Eagle Bearer must find four artifacts to seal Atlantis. The Gateway to Atlantis questline provides rough geographical details for where to find the artifacts but doesn’t tell you exactly where to go. This is where you can find the Atlantis artifacts in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Prize of the Sphinx (Boeotia)
The Prize of the Sphinx is the easiest Atlantis artifact to recover because you only need to complete a couple of quests to obtain it. Plus, you don’t have to fight a mythical creature. Pythagoras also gives you a clue for finding it, marking a “Lore of the Sphinx” quest location on the map.
To find the Prize of the Sphinx, head to the ruins within the Boeotia Lake Kopais region at the location circled on the map directly below. There you’ll find a guy called Gorgais who asks you to find his apprentice and an amulet. Find his apprentice and amulet as requested, and then return to the ruins to complete the Awaken the Myth quest. You’ll need to interact with the statue at night to reveal the Sphinx, who will quiz you with a few riddles and relinquish the Atlantis artifact upon quest completion.
Prize of the Minotaur (Messara)
Obtaining the Prize of the Minotaur artifact is less straightforward because you must complete a series of quests and slay a mythical creature to obtain it. To find this artifact, head to Knossos Palace ruins in the Minos’ Legacy region of Messara shown on the map below. There you’ll meet Ardos (shown on the map with a quest marker) who will tell you about the Minotaur and Labyrinth.
From there on, complete all the connected quests that follow from meeting Ardos. You’ll need to complete the “Blood in the Water,” “Recollections,” and “Full Circle” quests and then return to the ruins to speak with Ardos again. He’ll give you the key for unlocking the Labyrinth where you must slay the Minotaur to obtain the Atlantis artifact.
Prize of the Cyclops (Thisvi)
Although you’re directed to Kythera to find the Prize of the Cyclops, that Atlantis artifact isn’t there. However, you’ll need to complete some quests on Kythera Island to find the artifact. First, go to the village in the Aphrodite’s Watch region of Kythera and speak to the people at the marked “A God Among Men” quest location on the coast shown in the screenshot directly below. Rescue Empedokles from the nearby fort to complete that quest.
After rescuing Empedokles, you’ll be given another quest to retrieve a special disk key. Complete that quest and return to Empedokles with the special disk. He’ll ask you to meet him at the actual location of the Cyclops relic on Thisvi shown directly below. Go to Thisivi and jump off the inland cliffs into the water, where you can swim into the entrance of the Cave of the Forgotten Isle. Kill the mythical creature in the cave to claim your Atlantis artifact.
Prize of the Medusa (Lesbos)
It’s best to leave the Prize of the Medusa Atlantis artifact until last because you’ll need to complete the highest-level quests to obtain it. First, sail to Lesbos in the northeast corner of the map and dock at the southern port there. Go to the “Romancing the Stone Garden” location shown below to complete that quest.
After completing that quest, Bryce will take you to the location of the Prize of the Medusa at the Petrified Temple shown below. However, you can’t enter Petrified Temple until you’ve completed the “Heavy is Spear” and “Hard to Artemis” follow-on quests. Return to Bryce after you’ve retrieved the disk to enter the temple and defeat the mythical creature within it.
You can also see where the artifact (otherwise mythical creature) locations are on this Assassin’s Creed Odyssey interactive map page. Select the Mythical Creature marker to see where they are. Note that there’s a fifth mythical creature on Andros, which doesn’t have an Atlantis artifact.
When you’ve retrieved all four Atlantis artifacts in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, return to Thera to meet with Pythagoras at the Gateway to the Lost City again. You can then more fully complete Assassin’s Creed Odyssey by sealing Atlantis with the four recovered artifacts. Thereafter, kill off all remaining cultists to see the third questline ending if you haven’t already. Or check out the Fate of Atlantis Odyssey expansion pack, for which the base game includes a few introductory quests.
