Xbox Game Pass: All Games Revealed From Tokyo Game Show 2022

The Tokyo Game show is in full swing and Xbox has wrapped its showcase, announcing more games from Japanese developers coming to Xbox alongside eight new additions to Xbox Game Pass with four games shadow dropping today!

Xbox Game Pass All Games Revealed From Tokyo Game Show 2022During the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2022 showcase, we got to see new announcements for more games from Japanese developers coming to Xbox. In addition to this, eight games were revealed for Xbox Game Pass, including four shadow dropping today, a long-awaited game previously exclusive to PlayStation and games developed by Arc System Works coming in 2023. 

Here’s a rundown of all of the games revealed today at Xbox’s showcase from the Tokyo Game Show: 

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Continuing Ubisoft’s streak of Xbox Game Pass additions, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now on the game subscription service. This Assassin’s Creed title takes players to gorgeous Ancient Greece as not one but two possible playable characters, Alexios or Kassandra. With the choice of character, comes multiple paths in the story of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, allowing players to make decisions that will impact how your Odyssey unfolds. Customise your gear, ship, and special abilities to become a legend.

Danganronpa V3 Anniversary Edition

Shadow dropping onto Xbox Game Pass is the anniversary edition of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Publisher Spike Chunsoft announced during the Tokyo Game Show that the game will be made available for Xbox and PC today alongside its addition to Xbox Game Pass. The story involves a new cast of 16 characters finding themselves kidnapped and forced to play a killing game. Investigate the gruesome deaths of your new friends alongside condemning them to death when solved. It’s the twisted world of Danganronpa, available now on Xbox Game Pass.

FUGA: Melodies Of Steel 

Another game shadow drops to Xbox Game Pass, FUGA: Melodies Of Steel is an RPG where you place children in the gun turrets of a tank to fight against the enemy. One fateful night, a peaceful village is thrown into the flames of war. Determined to save their families, a group of children boards a giant tank and begins an offensive charge! Each child comes with their own characteristics and skills that can help determine the outcome of their journey.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered

Our last of the shadow-dropped games for Xbox Game Pass is Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered. Journey back to LEVEL-5’s classic tale returning with improvised graphics and performance. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch combines LEVEL-5’s mastery of the RPG genre with the world-class animation from Studio Ghibli and the music composed by the renowned Joe Hisaishi.

Deathloop

Finally, after almost a year of waiting, Deathloop comes to Xbox and as a bonus, Xbox Game Pass. At the Tokyo Game Show, it was revealed that Deathloop would be joining Xbox Game Pass on September 20. Deathloop is the tale of two assassins stuck in a time loop. You play as Colt, “Blackreef’s most wanted” who desires to break the loop. In order to do this, he’ll need to take out the eight visionaries…however long it takes.

Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle

Next, we have Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle revealed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in Spring 2023. Cross over into four different universes, Play as characters from Blazblue, Persona, Under Night In-Birth and RWBY. Choose your team in fast-paced 2v2 team battles filled with the craziness only BlazBlue can provide. With tight mechanics, smooth gameplay, and gorgeous 2D graphics, Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle should not be missed.

Guilty Gear Strive

Lastly, Guilty Gear Strive was the last game to be revealed for Xbox Game Pass at the Tokyo Game Show, coming to the service in Spring 2023. With cutting-edge 2D/3D hybrid graphics and a new artistic direction and improved character animations, Guilty Gear Strive goes beyond anything you’ve seen before in a fighting game. With a current roster of 21 characters and more coming soon thanks to the launch of its second season pass, you shouldn’t miss out on Arc System Works’ exciting new entry.
