First, Reach Level 1,000
First, note that you must be at or over the level 1,000 mark to obtain the Midnight Blade in Blox Fruits. Players lower than level 1,000 cannot enter the Cursed Ship, which is where the Midnight Blade is stored. If you’re below the 1,000 mark, bonk some heads by completing quests to raise your character to the required level. When you’ve eclipsed level 1,000, enter the Cursed Ship like this:
- Go to Graveyard Island in the Second Sea. There, you’ll find quite a large ship near the coastline, which is the Cursed Ship.
- Air Jump onto the Cursed Ship.
- Then, walk through the door on that ship’s deck to enter.

Amass 100 Ectoplasm on the Cursed Ship
Next, you’ll need to amass more than 100 Ectoplasm to purchase the Midnight Blade in Blox Fruits. Ectoplasm is a material currency for purchasing the Midnight Blade, Ghoul Mask, Ghoul race, and Bizarre Revolver aboard the Cursed Ship. You can amass ectoplasm by killing the following enemies aboard the Cursed Ship:
- Ship Deckhand
- Ship Engineer
- Ship Steward
- Cursed Captain
- Ship Officer
The enemies aboard Cursed Ship fall within a 1,250-1,325 level range. It’s easier to kill them when you’re within or above that level range. You can check how much Ectoplasm you have by speaking to the Guashiem NPC in Cursed Ship.

Purchase the Midnight Blade From El Admin
When you’ve amassed 100 or more Ectoplasm, find and speak to the El Admin NPC in the Cursed Ship. He’s quite an easy NPC to find by walking through the locker room near the main door entrance inside Cursed Ship. He will ask to trade 100 ectoplasm for the Midnight Blade. Select the Trade option to purchase the Midnight Blade from him.

Now, go and try out your new Midnight Blade. This weapon has Portal Opening and Crescent Dash movesets you can unlock at 150 and 325 mastery levels. The Midnight Blade sword’s pure damage is only bettered by a minority of alternative legendary and mythical blades.

How to Upgrade the Midnight Blade
You can make Midnight Blade in Blox Fruits even better by upgrading it. To upgrade it, you’ll need 40 Ectoplasm and 15 Scrap Metal. You can amass scrap metal by killing these enemies:
- Pirate: Pirate Village
- Gladiator: Colosseum
- Brute: Pirate Village
- Mercenary: Kingdom of Rose
- Marine Captain: Green Zone
- Lab Subordinate: Hot and Cold
- Forest Pirate: Floating Turtle
- Jungle Pirate: Floating Turtle
When you have the required upgrade materials, speak to the Blacksmith at Kingdom of Rose (or elsewhere). Then, select to upgrade the Midnight Blade in Blox Fruits to version two. The upgraded sword inflicts 13% more damage.
The Craft option for Midnight Blade
You can further enhance the Midnight Blade by enchanting it. Enchantments are special effects you can add to weapons with scrolls by speaking to the Dragon Talon Sage at Tiki Outpost in the Third Sea.
