Getting Started in My Restaurant!
When you first spawn in My Restaurant!, you’ll be taken through a tutorial of the game’s basic mechanics. Most of My Restaurant!‘s gameplay involves seating customers, cooking, serving food, and picking up cash. At first, you’ll have two tables, a counter, two stoves, one order stand, and one sink. All of these can be occupied—either by customers or staff—so you’ll have to complete tasks quickly to keep making money.
The most important part of the tutorial involves hiring waiters and cooks. Waiters will handle customers and pick up cash from the tables, while cooks handle the food. All members of your staff will level up over time, meaning they’ll perform their jobs faster. We recommend hiring the cook first; you won’t have many customers at the beginning, so it’s better to have food items prepared for you while you handle the guests yourself.

How to Get the Huge Chef Cat FAST in My Restaurant!
In order to get the Huge Chef Cat, you’ll want to serve as many customers in your restaurant as quickly as possible. There are several ways to optimize your restaurant, maximizing the number of customers as well as your income. Follow these steps closely to get the Huge Chef Cat fast.
Restaurant Layout
Space is a huge part of earning money in My Restaurant!, as more customers mean more income for you. As you start to earn money, you’ll want to purchase chairs and tables, which will allow you to seat a greater number of customers. It’s best to have four chairs for each table, as this will spawn customers in groups. This is the most efficient way to get large numbers of people into your restaurant at once. NPCs don’t need “paths” to get around the floor, so don’t worry about blocking them off.
Put your tables and chairs as close together as possible. You want to fit as many people as you can inside your restaurant at once. If you notice your order stands are filling up quickly or guests aren’t being seated at the door, you should hire more waiters. Conversely, if customers are staying at the tables for too long, this means they aren’t getting their food. Hire more cooks to solve this problem. Efficiency is the most important part of unlocking the Huge Chef Cat; get people in and out of your restaurant as fast as you can.

Save, Don’t Spend for the Huge Chef Cat
It can be very tempting to spend money on themed furniture and decorations in your restaurant. However, expensive chairs won’t bring more customers to your restaurant, and neither will decorations like plants and lights. It’s perfectly fine to use the cheapest items in the game, the Cheap Chair and the Cheap Table, in your restaurant. These can seat just as many customers without costing too much money.
There are exceptions to this rule, those being the tables and chairs that attract Special Customers (we’ll get to those later). However, these items are very expensive and won’t be affordable for some time. For now, focus on filling out your restaurant to maximize income.

Buying Floors to Get the Huge Chef Cat
My Restaurant! grants players up to ten floors for their restaurants. For each floor you purchase, the rate at which customers spawn in your restaurant increases. On the first floor, customers can take as long as 18 seconds to arrive; on the tenth, they’ll appear within 2 seconds. To get the Huge Chef Cat, you should be buying additional floors as soon as you can. You don’t need to fill them with furniture right away; just having the floor will make customers spawn more often.
You can access each floor of your restaurant by using the green teleporter in the back corner. Alternatively, you can click the “Floors” button at the bottom of your screen.
Buying more floors for your restaurant will help you get the Huge Chef Cat.
Collecting Money
Just like in real life, customers in My Restaurant! leave their payment on the table when they leave. However, your waiters won’t always prioritize these, meaning you might have unclaimed cash lying around your restaurant. Make sure to collect these as soon as you see them! This ensures you have as much money as possible on hand and allows your waiters to focus on customers.
Always pick up cash at your tables!
Upgrading Appliances
As your restaurant grows and attracts more customers, you’ll start to notice how much your appliances—like the stove and sink—are slowing you down. It’s a good use of your cash to replace these with higher-quality items, such as the Stainless Stove. This will allow your cooks and waiters to perform tasks faster, increasing the flow of customers in your restaurant.
This is especially true of dishwashers, which are the upgraded counterpart to sinks. Though the Double Sink can hold more dishes than the Better Dishwasher, the latter cleans dishes much faster. You’ll be able to clear dishes quickly, negating the need for extra space. If you can afford to buy a dishwasher, you should do it.
High-quality stoves in My Restaurant! are expensive, but fast.
Using Special Customers to Get the Huge Chef Cat
Special Customers are NPCs that have a small chance of spawning in your restaurant. These NPCs pay much more for their food, and some of them will even attract more customers. If you find yourself with a lot (and we mean a lot) of spare cash, investing in Special Customers can increase your income by a wide margin. Here are a few examples of Special Customers in My Restaurant!:
The YouTuber Customer
The Youtuber is a Special Customer with a 0.01% chance of spawning. This NPC will pay 50 times more for their food and bring their fans, who will also pay extra. If you want to attract YouTuber Customers to your restaurant, you’ll need to purchase the Gamer Chair for $950,000 and the Gamer Table for $1,250,000. Together, these items have a 25% chance to bring a YouTuber Customer to your restaurant. Keep in mind that these items stack, which means that more in your restaurant will bring more YouTuber Customers.
You can also attract YouTuber Customers with the Silver Play Button, which costs $75,000. However, the increased likelihood from this item is relatively small. As such, you should only buy Silver Play Buttons if you can afford multiple of them at once.
YouTuber customers will bring their fans to your restaurant, which is great for getting the Huge Chef Pet.
The Santa Customer
Santa Customers have a 0.25% chance of spawning in your restaurant and pay 40 times more for food. Like the YouTuber, Santa will bring other customers to your restaurant in the form of elves. While inside your restaurant, the Santa Customer will drop golden presents on the floor, which give you up to $1000 each. If you see a Santa Customer, keep a close eye out for those presents!
To attract Santa Customers, you can purchase the Santa’s Cookies item from the shop for $68,000. Like the Gamer Chair and Gamer Table, Santa’s Cookies stack, so it’s worth it to buy more than one. You can also purchase Santa’s Golden Cookies and Santa’s Sleigh, both of which significantly increase the odds of a Santa Customer coming to your restaurant. However, both these items cost Robux, so think carefully before you purchase either of them.
The Santa Customer is rare, but very valuable.
The Celebrity Customer
The Celebrity is an extremely rare Special Customer, with just a 0.025% chance of spawning. Celebrity Customers pay 5 times the normal price for their food, a much lower rate than Santa or YouTubers. However, Celebrity Customers create Ad Campaigns, which will bring extra customers to your restaurant for two minutes.
To attract Celebrity Customers, purchase Jewelry Cases from the shop for $35,000 each. This is relatively cheap compared to other Special Customer items, so investing in Celebrities is a good idea early on. Jewelry Cases also stack, and you’ll receive the most benefit from having between 10 and 15 of them in your restaurant.
Celebrity Customers are a great option for new players trying to get the Huge Chef Cat.
Gadgets & Other Items to Get the Huge Chef Cat
There are other items available in My Restaurant! that can generate income for your restaurant. Extra income can be helpful, as it allows you to purchase more floors, upgrade appliances, and purchase Special Customer furniture, all of which will bring more customers to your restaurant and help you unlock the Giant Chef Cat. Listed below are some of the best items in My Restaurant! for making more money.
Arcade Machine
The Arcade Machine allows customers to play after they’ve finished eating. These items generate money for each second a customer plays and cost $350,000 in the shop. Arcade Machines are likely to get a lot of use from your customers, so it’s a good idea to have a few on each floor. In addition, YouTuber Customers will spend extra to use Arcade Machines, so putting them on floors with a lot of YouTuber Chairs/YouTuber Tables will net you plenty of extra income.

Wishing Well
A Wishing Well costs $77,777 in the shop and gives the player a random reward every 5 hours. Wishing Wells can grant everything from temporary double profits to $100,000 in instant cash. You can only have one Wishing Well in your restaurant, but the potential rewards make it well worth the 5-hour cooldown. Just remember to use it again once the cooldown runs out!
The Wishing Well is essential for anyone trying to get the Huge Chef Cat.
BIG Tip Jar
The BIG Tip Jar costs 800 Robux, so not all players will be able to buy it. Those that do, however, will find that the BIG Tip Jar can provide a large amount of extra money very quickly. Customers have a 50% chance to leave a tip; depending on their food, this can mean hundreds extra. You can also buy multiple BIG Tip Jars, which will stack and increase the chances of a customer tipping.

The Shrine
At a whopping 10 million dollars, The Shrine is the most expensive item that My Restaurant! players can buy with regular cash. When players use The Shrine, an extremely rare NPC called the Mystery Customer will appear in the restaurant. The Mystery Customer will pay the player $50,000 after it finishes eating. Like Santa, Mystery Customers bring a number of Ghost Customers to the restaurant, who pay a higher price for their food. In all, players stand to make a huge profit from Mystery Customers, but should only purchase The Shrine after they’ve bought all ten floors and all available staff members.
You can only use The Shrine once every 14 hours, but it’s very useful for getting the Huge Chef Cat.
