Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is full of cultists you need to kill to defeat the Cult of Kosmos. Even if you’re not hellbent on completing the Cult of Kosmos questline, it’s always worth killing a few cultists for extra XP and loot drops. Heroes of the Cult is one of several branches of Kosmos that includes six cult members to assassinate. Most cultists in that branch aren’t members you must kill on the game’s primary family questline. This is how you can find all the Heroes of the Cult members in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Okytos the Great
Okytos the Great is a simple Heroes of the Cult member to find. Completing the “Serpert’s Lair” main story quest is enough to reveal his position on the map. You’ll find him in the Cape Sounion region of Attika.
Swordfish
Finding the Swordfish cultist isn’t as straightforward as Okytos. To find this guy, you’ll first need to find Pythagoras at the Gateway to Atlantis, unlocking the Gates of Atlantis questline. You’ll then need to head to Knossos Palace ruins within the Minos’ Legacy region of Messara. Speak to the boy Ardos at the ruins to complete the “Myths and Minotaurs” side quest and begin another called “Of Minotaurs and Men.”
“Of Minotaurs and Men” has three subquests to complete. Completing the “Blood in the Water” subquest will lead you to the location of Swordfish (Hermit’s Dive). You’ll find and fight Swordfish in an underwater cave near the Heraklion village in Messara.
Belos the Beast of Sparta
Belos the Beast of Sparta isn’t too tricky to find when you know where to look. He’s hanging out at the arena in Pephka in the southeast corner of the map. To fight him, go to the location of the “They Just Want Cruelty” quest, where you’ll meet Maion. Maion will tell you about the arena where you’ll need to fight numerous bosses to complete the “They Just Want Cruelty” quest. Select to fight Belos the Beast of Sparta in the arena to kill the Heroes of the Cult member.
Deianeira
Deianeira is a Heroes of the Cult member you can kill on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey main family questline. After meeting the kings of Sparta, the Eagle Bearer is assigned to support the war effort in Boetia. This leads to a reunion with Stentor, who tells you he needs four Boetian champions eliminated for completion of the “The Conqueror” quest.
Deianeira is one of the four champions you’ve got to kill to complete “The Conqueror” quest. Select the “Fall of Deianeira” subquest to mark this cultist on the map and eliminate, as required. Or you can get the clue for finding Deianeira by killing Okytos the Great or the leader at Fort of Plataia in Boeotia.
Pallas the Silencer
To find Pallas the Silencer, go to a blacksmith in Korinthia and purchase the tattered Spartan flag from him. Purchasing that flag will reveal Pallas the Silencer. The tattered flag only costs 25 drachmae.
However, you’ll need to lower the nation’s power in the Achaia region enough to trigger a conquest battle there. To do so, burn on some supplies and kill guards at forts in the region. After triggering a conquest battle in Achaia, go to the Athenian general banner in that region to fight the battle on the side of Athens. You’ll then get a chance to fight and eliminate Pallas the Silencer during the battle.
Exekias The Legend
Exekias is the Sage of the Heroes of the Cult you’ll reveal on the map by killing all the cultists above within his branch. Note that this is a level 50 cultist who will be very tricky to eliminate if you’re some way below his level. So, this is one cultist best left until you’ve at least completed the main family questline in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. However, you’ll need to be at around level 50 to kill the highest-level mythical creature to complete the Atlantis questline.
Killing those Heroes of the Cult members in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will leave you one step closer to defeating the Cult of Kosmos. That’s one of several branches you’ll need to clear to complete the Cult of Kosmos questline. Good luck, and have fun assassinating the cultists.
